Finally some common sense out of DC

Inflation caused by government policies has helped to reduce their buying power. Some people are not bright enough to understand this.
Yeah like food stamps have that big of an impact in comparison to the retarded defense budget.
WTF you speak of bright in the same breath..... :wall:

*Edit

Besides, of all of the Americans that pay tax in one way or another, how much of your tax dollars do you think you are actually "having stolen to feed someone else" anyways?
What maybe a couple loafs of bread a year? Don't you see a problem with your thinking or are you just a greedy bastard who doesn't care about anyone but yourself?

It's good that you want to help people. Yet you completely ignore the HOW you'd it. Why do you think it's okay to take somebodies money, to pay against their will, for the things you want rather than seek peaceful voluntary solutions? On one hand you seem to say you don't war, then when somebody doesn't like to be forced to fund your plan...you go to war with them....Why is that?

I quoted myself so you could read my edit.

I will bite and address you again.

I dont like war, but dont you see a fundamental difference between feeding needy people and killing them in war or just maybe
making decisions that would force malnutrition upon people in one of the richest nations on earth?

Im not in a war against anyone, in fact I pointed out the war chest that is a better target than poor peoples lunches.
Try again.

Greed has nothing to do with it, for me, anyway. I voluntarily help people.

It is you that thinks forcing people to fund something they'd prefer not is somehow, "not war". You seem okay with taking from others to fund things you like. If those people don't want to fund the things you like...do you advocate leaving them alone or using force (war) against them?

The fundamental difference isn't WHAT you'd do with the money...it's the simillarity in HOW you'd both acquire it. You endorse the same acquisition methods (force) as the people that want to fund wars.

No.
You have a clear issue paying taxes.
I, like most others understand the need to pay taxes and why we do.

When you come to terms with why we pay taxes and the good that comes of it for everyone, you will be far better off.

Taxes and death are our only guarantees in life.

So you seem to have failed to address the part about your being "against war", but also okay with war to fund the things that you like...why is that?

I have an issue with people that want to run others lives. I don't make exceptions for people that think they are my leader.

You seem to be afraid to face the fact you endorse the initiation of force, which makes you just like the war mongers you seem to detest.

Extra points for use of exude. Now go scrub those temporary Harley tattoos off and get ready for supper....I think I hear your mother calling.

Lol, you are trying to paint me as an aggressor as I defend a person who you wish to take food from while you
drive the roads they helped pay for.

Really, this is an issue that you have with taxation. Since you are such a charitable person maybe you could build
an interstate that people could use to go to work from your own pocket?
But wait!
No way you could afford that right? So perhaps it is a good thing that many before you paid their way
so that YOU could earn a living driving those roads.

Your issue is one of two things, you are the one who wants something for nothing and are unwilling to kick in
your fair share.
OR
You lack the morality that would make most people feel the need to help someone who cannot afford to eat.

Which one is it?

Did you know that capitalism is wasteful, not incidentally, but by design? Scarcity makes commodities more valuable.

That's why I think it is ok to take someone's money and redistribute it to the poor.

When I read the title of this thread I knew there was no way its about John Kerry Ketchup King. The tax evader from Nantucket. Recommends himself for war medals when nobody else thinks hes a hero. Tried to give himself the purple heart.

Why does John Kerry sound like a snobby white rich guy? Is it because he lives in Nantucket with his millions, and his yacht in Rhode Island for tax evasion purposes?
