Wow, Apollo jornal, are you going to grow only 2 plants under this powerful lamp? Lots of growers post Apolo jornals at this site, but very few of them keep posting until the end, I look forward to seeing the final results.

The final results are usually their led lamps broke after some monthes .They like that lamp very much at first , but after a long time , the lights clusters failed . They felt disappointed, because that's not what they expect .

The grow is going good, just placed the Autos into jiffy pellets, and will be placing them in there pots in the next day or so. all of them have started to germinate except for the Blue Cheese but, i planted it like the others hoping its just a late bloomer. the LSD and Blue OG are doing great the LSD seems to be maturing faster and is getting some nice orange hairs. hopefully I'll be able to harvest the top buds early and try to get the lower 'popcorn' buds to fatten up a bit. the Blue OG has been a delightful surprise its grown very bushy, and all of the buds are growing nice and fat, I'm hopeful that the buds will swell up nice and plump.
Mid flower Review of Cidly's Apollo 10:
the Apollo so far I've been happy with, its been much better than growing with CFL. no problems still working like new. if i could do something different it would probably be changing the cool white to warm, but thats a small problem and likely wont have that great of a difference. so as far as buying from Cidly, I'd say they are a good alternative to the more high priced panels, but just go in knowing that they drive their LEDs harder than others and unlike the Han's panel or Area 51 they don't use high quality LEDs. so in short its a cheaper alternative, that likely wont last as long or give you the same amazing g/w like the hans panel. but over all its a decent LED light that is better than the similar low/mid range LED lights that come from china. as of now I'd give it 4 stars, but this could change ill post another review post harvest.

LSD is a farst finisher, atleast the Indica Pheno it seem`s like you have going, 8 weeks usually do it

and if you feel your fixture miss some warm white you could always add a few small 2700K CFLs, can also work great as side lightning

thanks for the advice slipon, I was just thinking about adding some CFLs on the side i did try it once in the first few weeks of flowering and they were just over powered by the LEDs and i couldn't tell a difference (i know eyes and the light being put off by light and used by the plant are different) the main reason i took them down was it was just a shit show with all those different electrical cords. and I'm defiantly with you on the LSD being a fast flowerer I'm betting ill be harvesting in the next three - four weeks, its indica heritage is defiantly dominate.

I believe the one way someone can get the best mileage out of Chinese panels is to have a great environment. My temps can soar in both directions and both of my BS240s have clouded caps, and the "UV" diode on one melted. Meanwhile there's Beefbisquit who also has some Chinese panels and his are in much better condition than mine and he has probably been running them longer than I have mine. And the one thing he does is keeps a very tight grasp on his environment and I think that has a lot to do with his panels' condition. Keep it cool, keep the temps steady, especially under 80F and those "cheap" panels will last longer I bet. Oh and don't take 'em apart and put 'em back together like I do .

the soil is miracle grow organic potting soil, not the greatest but the best i could do sense the local hydroponic store closed down. Their in around 1/2 liter pots right now, and I would prefer it if I didn't have to by new pots so im hoping they will be fine seeing how people grow in SOL cups i think ill be fine.

yes but sadly i live in a small town smack dab in the middle of no where the closest Home depot is about 70 miles away, plus the fact that i don't have a car...

When (if) you do your next auto run- and you are stuck with small pots, start them in solo cups and then tier them into the smaller pots. Autos will flower when root bound far more readily than photos- being autos after all. Look for those to finish early. Tiering them allows for longer root drop and signals the plant to veg the full span of its biological clock.

They won't ever replace photos for me- but they are fun.

is it, tho some run em a bit higher, I have two panels, one with 120x3W LEDs that run 280 actual watt so that 2,3W I guess and another that have 96x3W and run exactly at 192W (2W per 3W LED chip)

Going back to page one - these dont seem to be driven atypically hard- I wonder if that's an issue that's been resolved- and if that might translate to increased longevity in the cidly/bysen etc panels.

from my understanding you can't really use the watts of LEDs, to determine lums or how much you'll need for x size grow room, like you can with HPS or CFL. lower end LEDs (Cidly) compared to high end LEDS like CREE or Phillips are higher quality and produce more Lums per watt so they relative to low end LEDs can be driven lower and = the same Lums or cover the same area. alternatively look at the Hans panel he uses high quality LEDs spaces them farther apart, has the drivers separate from the light. while I don't know his exact specs I assume this allows him to run the high quality LEDs at a higher wattage and still keep a longer life span because the heat is more disperse.

P.S. also i think most of the misunderstanding about how companies drive their LEDs comes from the fact that they post the Total draw possible rather than the actual which most people find dishonest and misleading. while Cidly provided me with the possible draw and the total. so while cidly might drive them slightly harder than say HTG or Blackstar there really isn't much lateral movement for the amount they can drive them at.

in other news I've been looking at getting a vaporizer, any suggestions? I'm thinking about ether the Plenty vape, or the mivape. i know the plenty vape has received fairly constant good reviews, but have found little on the mivape. i know the vivape 2 (the table top version) has received reviews that it was a slight disappointment and has a few flaws. but im curious about the mivape it looks to be a step up from the magic flight launch box, which my friends loved but i found to be a disappointment (could never seem to get a decent high from it). I would like to get a portable one so i can take it on outings, unless there is a tabletop one that massively out strips them (volcano?) and has comparative prices.

so its week 7, the LSD is almost ready for harvest, probably tomorrow, or the day after, the pistils have mostly changed, but most of the trichromes are still cloudy. the Blue OG is coming along nicely the buds are really starting to swell and it's getting frosty.

so the weigh in at the start of curing (in jars) for the LSD was 41g, down from around 160g at harvest, all in all it did much better than I thought it would considering the few problems I had with it (light falling on it). the Blue OG is about a week or two away, and looking like ill get around 2 oz hopefully.
