My seed order, your thoughts?

I respect your opinion but I've had some of the best tga has to offer and have never met anything close. . It's all about finding the best pheno and the joy of the pheno hunt. The dominant sex in a marihuana plant is hermi so when you force hermie them to create fem seeds you up the risk of of the plant turning herm on you when it faces very little stress.

That list looks like a good starting point. BTW, I have a Jillybean growing that I haven't finished yet, but I certainly didn't choose hoping for the most potent strain. It's just not known for that. I'm actually looking for a mellow, uplifting daytime smoke with great taste. I am also looking for a good yield and fast finish time.

I understand the drive for higher potency, but it shouldn't determine a strain's quality or worthiness.

These types of threads always end up with some seed company/breeder getting bashed and slated. Arguments erupt and dummies are spat out.

For that reason, I am out.

It seems to me like tga is the most hated on team of breeders around. Which depending on how you look at it means they are doing something right. My favorite tga smoke so far from what I have had is the pink lady pheno of plushberry. She tasted like strawberry pea mixed with dank funk. High was excellent. The bloodwreck dom pheno of cherny is a close second only cause I like ol pinks flavor better. Chernys high was uplifting and goofy. Agent Orange was like you just took a bite of a fresh orange. More to come for me. On deck are Mickey kush Jesus og timewreck and cheesequake.

My tga grow was the biggest waist of time, never again, this joy of stran hunting in laymans terms is $1000 worth of beans for a good one, when there good there good tho. Tga' s high is ok but not special at all. The yield is carp. It is the look smell and taste that are out of this world good. Tga use to be very popular around here, the people who were doing it had a lot of killer stuff 100% of the time it won the bag appeal but that's it- and I think that most have moved on to stronger stuff

^^^^^^ exactly what im talking about. It's not tgas fault you couldnt grow the strain right. On average you find atleast one keeper in a ten pack. Maybe you didn't quit know what to look for in a keeper. I've seen tremendous yielding tga strains and I stress when done right.

paintedchef, I'm trying really hard to respect your opinion here, but when you say shit like that it's really difficult to. How on earth would you know that the strain wasn't "grown right"? Is it not possible that out of the 5, 10, or 20 seeds that he grew that there just wasn't a strong pheno in the bunch? I've grown dozens of strains, and been at this for a while, and I have my opinions. They are unbiased opinions based upon what I've grown and sampled from others. I never form a strong opinion on something until I've run it at least a few times. I grow for myself and 3 patients. One of my patients loves Cheese Quake. So I grow it for her. It's been in my garden for a couple years because of that. I can still objectively look at the strain and tell you compared to other stuff I've grown that it's a very easy strain to grow, nice healthy plants, no hermies, a lovely taste and smell .... but it lacks a punch that some of my other strains have. I'm not "growing it wrong", that's just my opinion. Same for the Jillybean that I grew. I have a 10 pack of Plushberry still sitting in my fridge 2+ years later because I wasn't that impressed with the TGA stuff that I grew and moved on to other breeders.

Why is it that every TGA fan-boy busts out stupid shit like this? You guys get so defensive and butt-hurt over anything that could be taken as negative towards TGA or subcool. Everyone's a "hater" that doesn't worship the ground that sub walks on. It's really ridiculous.

All fanboys are this way ?
if you grow some chimera and some dj short , post a thread saying it was crap
elite fan boys will come out of the woodwork to call you out i'm sure

some of the MNS fanboys are the worst i have seen
some of them really believe that virtually every other strain/cross in existence is a re-labeled MNS strain originally lol

I'm not a fan boy. I've grown many strains and feel tga is the best I've grown. Like I have already said we must be doing something right to get all this hate. A 30.6% thc content is proof enough for me. Look into how they are actually making all these fem seeds and you might change your minds but hey if youre down for chemicals and non organic badness in your meds all I can say is to each their own. Remember when you pop those Jilly beans you wanna look for the keeper pheno and once you find her then you just might be as happy with tga as I am. Thanks for calling me elite by the way.

stay dank
