Stumped: Please help!!!

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new at growing... I'm growing 6 small (18") white widow plants which are about a month into flowering under a 400W metal halide using miracle grow bloom but just bought some general hydroponic ferilizer i will be switching to. All of my leaves are starting to turn yellow and burn around the tips and some have a redish brown between the veins on the fan leaves, also the tips of the leaves are curled downward... last week I thought it might be a magnesium deficiency so i used a quarter teaspoon per Lt. of epsom salts but it hasn't done much... Yesterday I flushed all of the plants to try and maybe get any left over salts out of the soil. Im just stumped on what is wrong from what i can read burning at the tips usually means too much fertilizer but leaves turning yellow can mean not enough?.?.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also i dont have a proper way to keep it dark at night so i have just been putting them in the water room at night but sometimes I dont get them in for an extra hour or two...

Pic2 looks like a Magnesium deficiency.
Check your Soils pH, you could be locking out nutrients.
I'd get some Cal/Mag give a few doses to your plant.

no. not an Mg deficiency. Why would you think that?

If anything, it looks like a Phosphorus def but I dont think thats it either as any "bloom" formula would have sufficient levels of P in it.

Why are you flushing if you suspect a nutrient deficiency? The yellow leaves look like N deficiency which is common with plants fed only low N "bloom" fertilizer.

I think the droopy leaves are a result of the flushing. The yellow leaves a result of an N deficiency and the purple a result of phosphorus lockout caused by environment (pH or temperature) or excess amounts of another element.

HERE IS THE ANSWER the buds look firm and healthy . those plants look normal . job well done. this is normal in late flower for those fan leaves to start to turn yellow, in the stage your in , can you post a pic of the buds close up ? so we can look at them. did you scope them out yet ? don't add more fertilizer please ! just keep doing what you are doing. trust kind diesel . what I would do is go lighter on the nutes for a week half strength there over nuted a bit but nothing crazy . fan leaves start to fold in tell tale sign . go half strength until your flush. the mj you were using was what 15 45 15 ? some where . the ( 15) nitro is to high. first number on the box.

There are some close up shots of the buds... I,m not sure if i would be using too much fertilizer because I only use a quarter teaspoon per Lt. of 15-30-15 ultra bloom powdered fertilizer once every 3 waterings or so... the next time I fertilize I will be switching to GH FloraNova and KoolBloom, how much and when would you say i should use it???

honestly . I would pull off those ugly leaves. so the plant does not waste the energy repairing them. and the energy will be place into bud production. any plant that goes into flower expect to lose a lot of those fan leaves. they dry because its normal .

These leaves look like a Magnesium Deficiency. -IMO

Your fan leaves usually yellow, and die right about now.
Look at the leaves that grow around your buds. Those should be healthy all the way through until finish.
Chalk it up as experience. You know what to look for on the next grow.

LoL !The last 3 pictures show a yellow leaves right ? man don't worry that's just because of flowering ! Don't add Nitrogen ! Flowering nutrients are good now ! like 5-15-15
