last time there was talk of taxes on people like us, it was the republicans trying to block the payroll tax cut in order to squeeze another $1000 a year out of the working class to pay down the massive deficits that they created.

and let's not forget that every single republican in congress (save one) voted against the biggest tax break in our lifetimes, the ARRA.

so let's see...the GOP votes against the tax cuts in the ARRA, they try their best to block the payroll tax cut so that working folks can pay off their massive deficit, then they get rid of the payroll tax cut a few months later in the budget talks.

it's OK, they made up for it by doing their darnedest to block health care for 9/11 first responders who rescued people from ground zero.*

Why do you always consider people who oppose you to be Republicans? Is it because you have no argument past your liberal talking points? Why does the city want to raise my taxes EVERY year, and what does this socialist agenda hope to accomplish? I don't want to have to leave town every time I go shopping. Instead of going to Costco in Stockton, I will be going to the Costco in Lodi for now on. Don't you see how that will make the city go poorer than we already are?

sorry, just pointing out the fact that the last few tax cuts for the middle class were all opposed by the republicans you like to vote for.

aren't you republicans all for more local control, by the way? states rights, local control, etc? why don't you just move somewhere else instead of complaining about how you are the only white person in stockton?

aren't there pools to clean in north dakota or something? i hear texas and arizona are some nice, regressive shitholes as well. and they have pools.

why don't you stop being so fucking whiny and annoying and improve your life instead of just casting blame at politicians all day long?

our middle class was strongest when our taxation was most progressive.

ever since zombie worshippers with silly ideas about trickle down voodoo made the tax code less progressive, the middle class started to shrink.
