she is a shit poet, but most modern poets are shit. they cast aside meter and rhyme decades ago in favour of obtuse metaphor and scatterbrained "stream of consciousness" horseshit which they mistakenly believe is "Honesty"

many rap and hiphop lyricists are far more interesting than modern faux-poets like angelou.

some rappers, if you took away their Phat Beats and turntables would sound like a kerouac style beat poet.
