i need a little help. i have 10 plants that i'm growing outside (my first time growing). their a little over a foot tall, working on their 6th set of leaves, that are 6 inches across. i put a little generic fert on them and keep the soil moist. can anyone give me a couple of simple things to try and help them along?? no high tech, high dollar solutions. they get average light(sun, new england) they are starting to smell SWEET!! i plan on letting them grow until they won't grow anymore, sept-oct i think. just playing here so please no crap!! i plan on an indoor grow this winter with all the bells and whistles... thank you in advance..

I think you'll be fine as long as they get enough light and water, just watch them and they will tell you if they need anything.

We've basically the same weather..Heres a BASIC & cheap way I've used past 6 yrs..For veg. I use a 20-20-20 or 20-10-10, for veg the N, 1st # must be about 20 +- the other 2 lower...about $8.00 enough for season....for flower you what a higher P 2nd #...A 10-25-20 sort of ratio, ....When they start to flower this year I/m using molasses to faten buds (works 2x)...1/2 teaspoon per gallon water..every watering...I watch for when soil starts to pull away from plant pot to water..some buy meters ($10), some go by wet/dry weight...don't over water/feed...Good luck:mrgreen:
