Impossible Questions

Ask a question that is impossible to answer and tell me why it's impossible to answer it

"Why do I exist?"

I believe it's impossible to answer this question because a. there is no one to answer it, why I exist is existentially subjective, and b. nobody knows the answer, and as far as I can tell, finding the answer using modern science is impossible. Future science might come up with a way, but I can't fathom how at this point in time..

The answer to that question is not impossible. The answer is so simple, many look over or around it completely.

I exist to exist. I exist to be.

Now, an impossible question...

What is to come?
That has no answer, because it hasn't happened yet. The decisions that create the answer have yet to be made.

Hey, Pad. I think why is begging the question. I taught my son from an early age that it is often prudent not to ask why, but how; How is the sky blue? How did we come to exist? These questions have answers. Why denotes a purpose or intention, of which there often isn't any...

Actually, modern physics points to the fact that linear time from our perspective is an illusion. The future exists simultaneously with the past and present. What is to come exists, but from the way we experience time, we cannot see it -

It seems that death is to come, for us, and for the cosmos itself as it winds down to the point where no matter, energy, or even time, exists. So, it's vitally important to live each moment fully, as moments are fleeting and will not last forever...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened."Douglas Adams, The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe

You exist to serve me. You're not doing a very good job of it.

Pretty simple IMO..
I exist because 42 years, 2 months plus 40 weeks ago, two people had sex in which a sperm and an egg got.together and formed a zygote ... that zyogote split and grew, and here I am..

Now the real questions I'd like answered.. why do we drive on the parkway and park in the drive way?

2 questions that puzzled me for a long time as a child..was why the hair on my arm stopped growing at a certain length and grew back to it when cut, but the hair on my head did not......the other was why only the palms of your hands and feet got pruny in water but nowhere else, this question was based on a lie my teacher told me about osmosis or diffusion or whatever causing it.....both questions were answered as I went through school.......what I've now determined is that their is no greater fulfilment (for me personally) than having a life long question answered..I love it

Oh and you poop when you wake up cause your circadian rhythm ....that ones on me:)

This is true...a reaction from your cns
once upon a time I cut off my index finger.. severed an artery some tendons and nerves blah blah blah...I had a friend of mine called in who happened to be a specialist where i work and reattach my finger........now half my finger goes pruny and half stays normal...kinda cool(not all the nerves grew back)

Here's another one;

At what point does something lose the property of being itself?

When does a table become a table? When does a table lose the property of being a table?

Let say you bought a table from Ikea and assemble it at home (lets assume it came with all the parts too). If you were to remove one atom at a time, at what exact point does it stop being a table? When does it lose its 'table-ness'?

When YOU choose for it not to be a table. Tables change in every society. So in the end, it's only your view on what a table is that matters. do you consider a stool chair a table? If not, some people might. Which means I can't answer that one.

well maybe I can actually.. TABLE: "a piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs, providing a level surface on which objects may be placed, and that can be used for such purposes as eating, writing, working, or playing games." I guess when it can't serve it's purpose is when a table is no longer a table. Ignore the first part of my post :)
