i didn't know you were ordering seeds til after.........theres good things about feminized seeds tho.........im sure its not the worst decision you've ever made...... might not be a problem for you anyhow its not like its every feminized seed

do not listen to this guy, he does not know what he is talking about. His information is based on probably one of two things:

Internet rumors about fem seeds and "hermies."

or

He stressed a fem seed plant and it "hermied."


A female plant from a feminized seed is the same as a female plant from a regular seed.
If the parents produced male flowers under certain circumstances, the off spring will be just as likely to produce male flowers.

Plants from regular seeds are just as likely to produce male flowers as plants from fem seeds.


I have made thousands of feminized seeds and have not seen one "hermie."

It was just his opinion, and he DID say it doesn't happen to all fem seeds...It's all good :) But thanks for looking out! :)

It happens most of the time because growers stress their plants.

It is not just a feminized seed thing.


All female cannabis plants have the ability to produce male flowers. It is a normal and natural survival mechanism.

Someone needs to banish this troll back to his bridge. I'm not a pro-grower, but I can spot a rude, and disruptive internet tough guy when I see one.

Example:Posting rude comments to someone for offering their advice is juvenile, and disrespectful to MD, and her thread.

It is pretty funny that you would search my name. You should not let me live in your head rent free.
It is pretty spacious in here, you can hear an echo! Terrible view though, you should get a nicer place away from the trailer park.

I have only journaled one feminized seed crop. I do not know how you didn't manage to find it in your extensive search of me.

What else you got son?

I have to to play devils advocate on this one. Woody has been rude in the past, no denying that. He will NEVER have a future in public relations. I don't know what his beef is with Stew...but I tried my best to keep things "on topic". I have to point out that THIS TIME (Woody shared his "opinion" with me...he then said it wasn't always the case just HIS personal taste) Trousers was the aggressor on this one. Maybe they have a past (most likely they do...lol) But in my experience dealing with Woody...if you are humble, he is humble. He has never come off to me as a "know it all" and admits when he doesn't know for sure. Woody has been VERY helpful to me on this grow...Can't we all just get along?? :shock:
