this is my 3.5month old girl who is about 4 weeks into flowering but just this past week the back of the leafs have been rolling up and yellowing and dying off starting from the bottom up. i water it about 2-3 times a week and she is under a 150wt hps. no nutes at all.

Ok No Nutes is a great thing !
You gonna verify if she needs water, put you finger deep in the soil and see if it needs water or not ! (If so, add some more !)
Now your problem is a Heat Stress ! This baby has no ventilation I see ! You should reduce the heat if you got a heater or sort of ! Else you should get it a bit farther from the light cause it's really suffering ! Flush the leaves with fresh water, that would help her recover !
Too Hot in there ! Don't know how you couldn't notice ! Cheers :leaf:

i actually think that no nutrients is your problem!! if your using ONLY water the whole grow then you need a soil with alot of FOOD in it..im using foxfarm ocean forest which most people consider "hot"(alot of nutes) snd that runs out of juice in a few weeks of only water...if it had anything to do with heat it would be happening at the top of the plant where its HOT not from the bottom up!! so you can either add some bottled nutrients the next few waterings, or top feed with more soil(fresh soil on top will feed your plant when you water)

no its definitly not heat stress because when the plant begins to get damaged because of heat it kills the leafs in spots whereas mine originated from the tips and yellowed then rolled (different from curling) inwards and then died. the soil i use is actually very nutrient enriched and i was actually thinking that this was a nitrogen toxicity (overdose). it seems to actually flare up when i water it so i have decided to use water with some very deluded h2o2 only because im trying to get this under control so i can save the plant. does anyone have any ideas or has anyone come across this?

The plants growing with no nutrients are always better than others cause they contain no chemicals !!
Flushing cause the plant's under heat stress ! It refreshes it ! :bigjoint:

Alright then ! I see now

Reduce the amount of nitrogen that is being fed to the plants. If you are feeding extra nutrients, cut down. If you are in the flowering / budding stage, make sure you're using a formula that's specifically meant for flowering, or else it will have too much nitrogen.
If you are not feeding extra nutrients, you may have "hot" soil that has been supplementing with extra nutrients. In that case, flush your plants with filtered, pH'ed water to help leech out the extra nitrogen.
Effected leaves likely won't recover, but you should stop seeing the problem spread to more parts of the plant.

Are you letting your tap water set out for 24 hours? (I assume you're using tap water) And IMO...you want to feed that poor girl with some flower nutes...and start off small like 1/4 strength and work your way up and if you're using tap water, it should have enough calcium in it for you to just add some epsom salts...about a teaspoon per gal to start, and yes you can mix it with the nutrients...good luck, and welcome to RIU...
