i have to have my feet out, and i can't sleep with socks. i can pass out in socks, however.
I can't sleep with socks on either. But I can sleep in polar fleece or flannel pajamas with lots of covers on me. Hubby folds the top duvet over me because we also have a quilt and a sheet, lol Another wierd thing I though of is, I have this squishy pillow I sleep with and kinda of hug when I sleep. I think it is a replacment for the teddy bear I always slept with until I was grown, lol.:peace:

That's funny. My GF sleeps with a pillow like that when I'm not around. It's really funny - she has insomnia when I'm not here - and apparently has her whole life - but when I'm in bed she can't stay awake for a full episode of Weeds, not to mention a movie.

I like a cover, but only squishy down, and can't sleep with pants unless it's freezing, and never with long sleeves - and only fall asleep on my back, with the occasional spooned exception.

:( I wish I could sleep on my back, it's been YEARS since I could, it hurts too much. Same thing with my stomach, it hurts my back too much. And for the past three years my hips have been getting bad, especially the left hip. So I can only sleep on one side for a little while, then it gets really painful and I have to turn to the other side. I keep thinking that since the right side doesn't hurt so much that in a few years my whole right side is gonna go flat, like the tires of a car that's been parked too long.
Each night before I go to bed, I make sure all the sheets are tucked in and smooth, no wrinkles.
:o Oh my God! Did you ever read The Princess and the Pea? That's what my husband calls me, because I can't STAND for the sheets to be wrinkled! I can feel them and it wakes me up if they're all nasty and wrinkled.

Whenever I get a pack of squares, I always flip one over for goodluck.

But.. It doesn't bring me much luck. .-.

I know! NO, they DON'T! :o Some of 'em just crumple that shit up and stuff it in their wallets. Then they're always the ones digging around and shit while there's a line of twenty people behind them waiting for hella days for them to make a $5 purchase.
I say hella and hella days too often....:blsmoke:

It's the northern california slang. It'll suck you in and before you know it you're a hip and happening 16 year old again.

I used to fool our dog doing that when I was a kid! Now I just use the real thing.

When i play poker i watch the chips as they are thrown onto the table. Sometimes, i think when a player throws in a single chip, the chip lands on the wrong side and i turn it over although both sides are the same.

I have issues with posting on a thread that i havent read the ENTIRE thread...

also i think it is funny how many ocd habits growers have as was commented before

I only watch movies on tv. even if its a shitty movie- ill watch it over 90% of other stuff on tv.

and last but not least- sometimes (though rarely) i think about things other than weed...

I'm exactly the opposite. I'll often see that a movie is on TV and either stream it or pull it out of my DVD collection.

I CAN'T STAND COMMERCIALS.

I follow some TV series, but I NEVER watch them on TV.

Everybody know the new season of Weeds has started. F'in good. One on tonight I think .. thank god for bittorrent.

I am like that, lol. I hate to feel wrinkles on my toes or the sheets all crunched up.
Have you ever put a pillow between yor legs when you sleep on your side? I never did until my back started bugging me. I suffer from sciatic pain since I have had my daughter. It actually happened when she turned in me at around 6 months. I could actually feel the nerve pinch and it has never been the same since. When pregant I had to go to massage therapy everyother day just so I could kinda of walk. There is nothing like that pain I tell ya right down down your whole leg. But back to the pillow, I find it helps relieve some weight and stress from your hips and knees when you sleep on your side.:peace:

Yeah, she's the same way. If you have hips like mine does, it's just unimaginable that a flat surface could provide any support except for maybe on your stomach, unless you were to put pillows under your back and legs.

Yes, it doesn't work anymore. :( Used to work just fine, when the only problem was the sciatic pain or muscle issues, but the herniated discs don't play that way. Acupuncture did WONDERS for me, but we have one acupuncturist in the county, and good luck getting in. Even the regular docs are usually so booked that your biggest problem isn't finding one you like, it's finding one who's accepting new patients. The first time I got the sciatic thing, I thought I was going to die and that it would require surgery. I had to use a stool as a walker so I could get out of bed and sit down to use the toilet. The discs, that was worse. But, like my son says, if I hadn't been injured I never would have met my husband. Who knows, had I not been injured I could still be stuck in Bombay Company hell to this very day.

Sorry to hear about the discs, that must really hurt. So acupunture really works on the sciatic? Some days I can barely walk. I have often thought of going but instead go to massage therapy, deep tissue therapy. I will look into it, we have lots of clinics around here. As for the doctor issue, here is the same. Hard to get one if you need it. I have had the same doctor for over 25 years. Our medical system is different in Canada, so makes it hard to compare with yours.:peace:
