CFL lumens outcome

Good afternoon fellas,

Im running a little CFL stealth grow and I have a white widow about 9 days from seed. I want to get about 2-3oz from her so any ideas on how many lumens or watts should I give her in veg and flower? Im running with two 23w 4000ishK 120v cool white CFL's (I know its maybe not enough). Im trying to work with minimums to reduce heat,electricity and to keep it stealthy of course. Thanks for the help!

Usually you get 1 gram of dry bud per watts you use. which is what ive always gone with.
but there are many useful methods for increasing your harvests like LST or mainlining to name a few.

Thank you very much for the info!!!! so basically I got two 23w cool white and a 13w coolwhite, then ill be switching to similar numbers for my flower. So I am assuming that id be getting around 59g?

Yes im pretty sure thats the sort of dry bud result. Anything harvested by hand isbetter than the long wait for the dude behind the munchies stand. Good luck with the grow though. you picked a tasty strain there my friend.

Great, I can't wait to see the outcome, I will try to post some pictures. After I see whats this all about (as this is my first grow) I am planning to put a cream caramel from green seeds. That should keep me busy for a while. Thanks again for the info.

Honestly for a first grow you picked quiet a test aroma type of strain. as widows do tend to smell a little. i would of suggested Northern lights due to how easy they handle low watt grows an there strong defences against buds an pests. but if its as stealth as i hope, your be cool running! if you get a grow diary setup post the link in your singiture for better exposure to allow others to better find it.

other than that im off to get restoned cause ive unstoned by drinking.

From personal experience, im not confident you will pull a gram per watt. That is a hard goal. With only 59w of CFL, you may get a 1/2 oz. I had 110w of CFL on one plant, LST'd, and still only got 3/4 oz of dry. UP the lights when you hit 12/12. As many as you can fit. Just my .02

A gram a watt is a high bar to obtain for first grow IMO! Dont feel bad if you dont get that. Its a high bar to set at any level i think lol. Ive done it twice in 12 grows :( but i keep trying lol

No worries, everything is a start right? I will be putting it under 2 23w and maybe 2 14w, be around same numbers when flower. Im also not that worried about the outcome of this lady since one of its cotyledons got ripped by accident. I have a cheese growing that might replace her if she can't give me much. Thanks! I will keep trying cuz at the end I just LOVE THIS SHIT.

wow, well we will see how much this lady can give. I will try to post a couple pictures later on. She got me worried a bit because its remaining cotyledon is showing a slight yellow on the tip of it. I don't know if its related to the other cotyledon being ripped off accidentally. Its kinda slow on its growth, we are on day 11th from seed and its first set of blades is far from being developed. I appreciate the advices!

Well, the plant is in a place were its sufficiently sealed not for it to smell too much but to still receive oxygen. The remaining aroma that will come out is not going to be stronger than me smoking all day. As long as the aroma doesn't leave my room its ok. I will definitely try Northern Lights later on I love that strain. Thanks for the advice!

Going to put some Sour Diesel in my system, I thank you a lot for your time!!!!! Be posting more stuff about it soon

If you want 2-3 oz from one plant using CFLs you're going to have to veg for a few months and have 150-200 watts minimum spread out all around her

Just let her grow and get ur cheese goin. It's likely that the ripped one may bounce back. Once it has some single blades it can photosynthsize again.

And you can veg and flower under both 2700k and 6500k with no problem. I've done both alone and mixed, and the plant did fine every time.
