Janie is sick, please, please, please help me help her... :-(

Hey Guys/Gals,

My girl (autofem, Amnesia AK) is feeling sick, and I don't want to lose her...
I've read through a lot of threads about plant problems, but I'm not sure what's wrong in my case. It's my first grow so I hope some more experienced growers can help me save Janie.

She's 3 weeks old (exactly 2 weeks 5 days since I put the seed into the ground, I haven't started it in a paper towel/water...), temps are around 78-82*, humidity around 30% and she's 2" below a 200W CFL lamp.
I switched the lighting schedule from 18/6 to 20/4 recently. I water her when the soil gets dry, and she doesn't look over/underwatered imho.

I haven't used any nutrients yet, and she's got a bigger home 3 days ago. Maybe she didn't want to move? Is she homesick?
She started to look a bit sick after I moved her to the bigger pot.

I got the best I could get here. I watered her just before taking those pics, maybe that's why it doesn't look good. She was super-healthy and growing fast before I changed the pot, and I used the same soil. Wouldn't she be sick from the day one if it's the soil? I can still look for a better soil if that's the case...

Possibly shock from moving to a new medium? After a transplant it can take about a week for the roots to take hold and for the plant to actually start growing again. It is essentially stunted until it gets comfortable in the new soil. Did this happen only after you transplanted, or was she ill before?

Potassium gives burned tips , Nitrogen gives the general pale green color. Check pH , make sure the roots get enough air. Good luck with Her : )

i think a reg brand of potting soil may be your best bet looks like your in straight peat moss , need to get some air to your roots , even a little pearlight mixed in that medium would help

Were they healthy in the first pot/soil then after you transplanted into new pot/soil they started this? If so were they the same soil mix? The overall transplant might've been rough on her as mentioned above (did you hurt her!?). Sounds like that maybe a good spot to start. Also, have you checked the water's pH you are using? Since you aren't using any nutes you may want to try a micro or organic grow nute to see if it helps.

plant is deficient but of what I am not sure, and soil needs draining aid like perlite stat... also, why did you transplant? it's very small... was it rootbound already? "the best" soil you can get around you is not good enough. the problem with soil that already has plant food in it (like miracle grow, and others equivalent) have food but not what you really need for cannabis.... it's better to have a soil with no food added, and put your own things in it (like worm castings, guano, etc...) and have a liquid feed as well (organic teas, organic liquid ferts, etc).

It's a regular potting soil, but unfortunately it doesn't have any pearlite in it. Gonna have to fix it...

Yup, she was 100% healthy before I transplanted her, and I use the same soil. I tried not to hurt her and I did it as delicate as I could, but who knows... Sometimes I'm too rough with women...

I could see the roots at the bottom and at the sides of the pot, maybe I should've wait a bit longer...

It's not easy to buy a good soil (good for cannabis) here, most of the brands you have in the US are nonexistent where I live. Anyhow, if I can't find soil here, I may order it abroad... but how can I fix it then? Transplant one more time?

Transplanting it could do more damage. I think your soil is too hot if you haven't used any nutes yet. Heres a table you might be able to use to help.

sorry to say it but you are fighting a losing battle, the minute you paid money for auto flowering seeds you kinda set yourself up for this. you will not get any bud at all from that plant, try to use it as a lesson and learn from it.

I think this may also be the case, because I f***ed up a little with reading my temps (long story short - just above the soil the temperature was higher than my thermometer "thought" it was...)

It's my first time, so I know I have a lot to learn... but many people grow auto flowering plants and they seem to be ok.
I don't want to sound rude, I just would like to know more about it .

you say you are 3 weeks from germination, by this point it should be going from the vegetative state to flowering but it is kind of doing nothing, it looks very stressed out.

you may think that autos would be a good way to learn to grow, but because you have to keep them happy from start to finish to get any kind of decent yield it is not the best way in my opinion.

why settle for ok when you can have amazing?. autoflowering strains are not as potent as true photo period ones.

Actually it's 2 weeks 5 days since I put the seed into the ground (I didn't germinate it in a paper towel etc.).
I'd like to grow a photoperiod plant someday, but yeah, I thought that the process of growing autos has a bit less "steps". I'll consider your advice next time I buy seeds and plan on growing

Def need perlite in that soil. Transplanting will shock your plant. This is my super skunk so excited I'm in week 6 of flower. Thank god I have patience.

have you grown auto flowering plants before? Your comment was very misinformed and the op will definitely get some bud. ( may not be a ton but he will yield.) Op if you want the best chance for that thing to survive throw it in some fox farm ocean forest soil and let it do it's thing. That soil has plenty in it to help you get back on track. Good luck.

I have grown 3 types of auto, auto haze by dinafem was ok at best, got over an oz per plant, lowryder# 2 was a waste of time and greenomatic was also a waste of time and nutrients. none of these 3 comes even close to photoperiod flowers. by some bud do you mean 2.5g of shit in 2+ months time, I don't call that a result at all.

Have you ever stopped to think that people have different views on results? In case you didn't read the op said it was his first grow and just wanted to learn. Everyone has to start learning somewhere. Instead of making rude comments about his grow try and refrain from coming off as such an ass.

now if you ordered autos thinking they would have the same quality as a good photo plant but yourdoingitallwrongbro. I'm sorry lowryder 2 was terrible for you, must be the growers technique lol
