so what is the difference between food and ferts?

ferts also have the 3 numbers representing N-P-K and value for the product, so what is the real difference?

plant food is nutrients and any raw fertilizer(shit/seaweed/fish/ect) also contains amounts of N/P/K in different forms.

They're essentially the same thing, but usually nutrients includes all the micronutrients (usually minerals, but also some vitamins) under the same umbrella. But, I think for common usage they're pretty much same-same.
