Who's running General Organics?

When using general organics, what feeding schedule do you follow? As in, how many ml/gal?

I use 5mL/g BioWeed(Schedule says 2.5)
I use 5mL/g BioBud through most of flower and drop it slowly the last few weeks -1mL per week starting week 7.

So week 7 - 4mL/g
8 - 3mL/g
9 - 2mL/g
10 - 1mL/g
11 - 0


I also use General Hydroponics FloraNectar BlueBerry Dream. I have to order mine online because the flavor is not in local grow shops.
That calls for 5mL/g in veg - I use 10mL/g
Flower it calls for 10mL/g - I use between 15mL-20mL/g depending on the scent the plant is putting off at the time.

I have noticed an increased salt buildup at the bottom of the pots but nothing is effecting growth so I don't worry too much.

I have not pH'd my shit in over a year.

Sunshine Mix #4.

I've also used CocoGro and ReadyGro by Botanicare.
ReadyGro has compost in it so you tend to have gnat issues and stuff.


I switched to Sunshine and won't turn back.

oh so go line can work then in soilless i wonder if its working in coco to then.... i thought it needs a soil food web to work and buffer ph, i only have the calmag- bio bloom and the root, after mixing ph is 4.5 and 450 ppm .68 conv. im in fox farms ffof in 1 gal pots some with just ffof some high p guano top dress and 3 with go nutes have fed twice and ewc tea twice!!! the go plants turned yellow and looks like a cal problem the others with out go look good and all the same. so i added a layer or worm c with 2 tsp per pot of dolomite then used ph up to 5.8 and watered, run off was 5.0 ph, i will keep useing gh ph up for now. most think it kills the myco herd but i have seen chem grows that use myco products and the roots look colonized like this pic here

They all smell. the BioBud smells like beef ramen noodles. lol...


If you don't use the whole line the pH will be way off.

I use them all PLUS the optional 2 BioMarine and DiamondBlack.

I tried it with mixed results(free sample pack of the whole line). I had to use the heavy feeding schedule, seemed to have some issues feeding it lightly. I guess it can be a bit strain dependent as well.

Are you going with the normal or heavy schedule? Plants look nice.

Looks like you went with the normal feeding, I had to bump up the Bio-Grow and Bio-Bloom to 15-20 ml per feeding to stop some issues I was experiencing. Might have just been a heavy feeding strain.

My GHS Trainwreck was a heavy Nitrogen hog so got a little extra for a while to stay green.

your ph must be better then mine another member confirmed the rest of the line would just make the ph lower, when i try it again ill use extreme myco,s, promix, silica and find earth juice ph up, should i add worm c to make it a liveing soil or is just myco's and tea to bring it alive ,what does every one think about this? i seen a biobizz grow with just peat soilless and no mycos and had dark green leafs in the end maybe they snuck in some salt nutes neverknow on these forums sometime what may be a advertisement... here is one of the go plants the rest are solid dark green

I would add the castings, great soil conditioner, added benefits and also a good pH buffer(humic acids). Also I would continue to use the bio-grow for the first two weeks of flowering to help off set any nitrogen deficiency during the stretch.

hey stew - i use gobox which is from general organics and am using most of what you are but i read somewhere that the biomarine will give the smoke a fishy flavor(kind of like the rank smell of the biomarine). is that info bullshit? i stop with the biomarine when i switch to bloom. i also am not using the floranectar. i am dosing my plants lightly (about 1/3 recommended dose) with fox farm cha ching, snowstorm ultra and also have gotten some of that prolific plant probiotics. my girls are pretty happy at this point.

BioMarine does give only SOME strains an off smell or taste. But that is usually only if you are using with every watering AND heavy dosing.
I use BioMarine beginning to end. I have used FloraNectar in the past but dropped it off my list because I felt like I was cheating.
I have plants that give off Blueberry Muffin smells. But no additives anymore. So I know it's all genetics..

You do NOT need to use BioMarine EVER. it's an Optional product in their line. Used for extra Weight Support.(Those little bubble things on the stalk above each node for strength when they are budding. those will increase in size.

It is not required though.

P3 will do you wonders. if you were not in contact with Brian(Owner of P3) then I suggest you use his recommendation and use 3-4" pellets once per month with all plants with minimum 1gallon soil/soilless medium. maximum 3 gallon. Increase dosage as needed with larger plants. (Example, I use 12" pellets per 10 gallon pot once a month)


Personally Not a huge fan of FF but if the products are working for you I will not knock them at all.. Just remember synthetics WILL leave a residual taste in the final product if not properly flushed 1-2 weeks prior to using. Unlike GO which only requires the final week be clean waterings without nutrients to help the plant eat what's left.
I have used GO till the end with NO snap crackle pop in the cured product.

this is my first go-round with fox farm as a supplement. i am going with the 'less-is-more' mantra for the rest of the grow. i am 10 weeks into flowering my thai girls and i think i have another month easily to go. i plan on stopping the cha ching and snow storm in the next couple of weeks and just giving light feedings of g.o. with some molasses to feed the little beasties in the p3...

About to run the organics line, heard great thinks, from notably experienced growers, only tip i have heard is that you dont need to rum the optional nutrients nearly as long as they say, due to the fact it is such a thick liquid and stays in the soil for a long time creating that beneficial bacteria in the soil
