Who's running General Organics?

Question for anybody that's run the GO line before. How often do you feed for best results without overdosing? I am at the beginning of my first grow (4 days since first sprout) and through all my months of planning I had intended to use the recipe for success kit but I changed my mind when I saw the go box is equally simple to use and organic. All my research on synthetic nutes recommended a feed- water - water cycle to avoid salt build up, but organics don't have salts. so can I feed with every watering after my plants deplete the happy frog they are in now or do I still need to mix plain waterings into the schedule?

Hey dude, I'm running organics line, and I have found that you should ph you nutes even tho they say you don't need to. Next it's always a good idea to do two feed then a water, unless you feel that your plants won't receive any nute burn. Remember altho you are running organic nutes it's never a good idea to give over the recommended dose, I've round ph decends quick and ppm increases just as quick. I use over and under recommended dosages. I have had ZERO issues with this nutrient line. I feed with EVERY WATERING. page 1 should have my exact numbers for what I use.

i use the biothrive version of GO, because its veganic, and i havent had a problemo smells TERRIBLE though

The only thing in the line that doesn't smell disgusting is the DiamondBlack. it barely gets used. of course. lol
a majority of GO is Vganic. BioMarine, and DiamondBlack are the only two parts that aren't. If my lights were on I'd read all the bottles. lol...

I think BioBud smells like Beef ramen noodles. lol

mmhm yes sorry i just meant personally i only use the biothrive GO, as its sold here locally and i dont like ordering offline

how'd you find that out man?

i only used grow, bloom and calmg when i tried it, with mediocre results
been tempted to try it again (hate sittin on 1/2 used bottles ;) ) dunno if i want to buy the whole line though

i dunno i find my pH is fine only using grow and bloom and sometimes the calmag one

I don't exactly remember this convo, but i must have not fully explained what i meant.
If you do not use the entire line, and use other nutrient lines mix and match, you will need to check pH and adjust as necessary. If you use the entire line you will not.
I have not even checked my pH since I first started using General Organics(2012), have not adjusted it at all. I use varying doses some higher some lower than recommended and some just as they say..
my plants come out just fine, no burn, some need more N than others and get yellow, some need more CaMg+ than others and get spots, but I add more as necessary. I have had no issues using full strength with every watering, sometimes twice a week with heavy drinkers. never had a lockout. not like synthetics.

hey sxlstew i was studying the feed schedule & the transition phase eliminates using the grow i would like to keep about 2ml-per gal. of the grow in my feeding schedule untill late flowering do you see any problems with me doing this??? & if its cool i would like to drop in from time to time & post my progress

they gave me a $15.00 mark down it ended up being $35.00 & some change as im only doing 4 plants this should pretty much do my whole grow i think these bottles are smaller than the $20.00 ones

Picture 012.jpg Picture 011.jpg Picture 013.jpg Picture 009.jpg Picture 010.jpg after a couple of feedings im getting very good growth but started noticing a little leaf de-formation which is not uncommon with skywalker but decided to check the ph. before feeding today it was pretty low [5.4] so i calibrated my meter & it was reading correct so i added a little baking soda & upped the ph[6.5] to what i use for soil if i was doing my normal hydro i would of ran it so far im happy with the general organics but would reccomend that until you get it dialed in to check your ph. usually i have to lower the ph. having to raise it is a first but if your ph. gets out of whack your probably gonna end up with problems i imagine soil is a bit more foregiving than hydro i might add im using tap water that has a ppm that averages 50-70 usually

Good stuff but all the 8oz are half empty 60days in.
I put like 2 tsp of ph up sometimes 3. Depending on the day. Added some miracle grow cause it they were growing kinda slow. Burnt the shit out of them... But it might of helped. Like 10 days into 12/12 just trying to see smell levels and cfl potential it's a stealth grow. After picking the right pheno I'm gonna make seeds on a controlled flower site and then once harvest pick up dyna gro foliage and dyna bloom with general hydro micro. Gonna prob use the rest of this stuff during flushing periods but I'd rather use synthetic tbh
