from my memories of being an hourly employee, i recall that the most generous places would give you about two weeks worth of paid time off per year to be used for all vacations, sick days, personal emergencies, mental health days, etc.

most places would give less than two weeks a year in PTO and would roll your PTO over every year and pay it out if you didn't use it.
yes, I suspect I was correct in assuming not all companies provide such benefits, and most states do not mandate. thus your point of only 50 weeks being paid still stands as accurate in many cases.

Now, what about people who do not qualify for Medicaid and are forced to buy healthcare.
Bronze plans pay only 60% coverage, what happens when these people have a major illness or major injury, a $200k medical bill will cost them over $80,000 plus their deductible.

This law is a train wreck and you know it, you're just too partisan to admit it.

I will point you to the fact that all 50 states have many people that get paid vacations..If you think the companies you mentioned don't have paid vacations you are off your rocker...The part time shit is BarryO's problem...Where did you come up with the part time spin when Joe worked for 50 weeks?

seems like you only get PTO at walmart after 1 or 2 years, and probably a measly amount after that time.

USPS employees make hourly wage and EVERYONE gets at minimum 13 days off per year, which is 3 days more than the norm. If I were to go work for the USPS I would get a whole month of paid time off starting my first year.

Of course SOME hourly paid employees get paid vacations, but they are the exception to the rule.

I worked at a place where you got a week off after a year of employment. Providing you had that year of service by January 1st. So if you got hired on January 2nd you had to wait 2 years for that week of vacation

You're a fucking moron. You know you can't prove that every company gives paid vacations to ALL its employees. You have shown me one instance where a "generous" company is giving its employees a WEEK of paid vacation after the first year, they have to wait another 4 years to get two weeks.

Prove to me that all companies pay all their employees paid vacation. Show me a state mandate that regulates that.

You brought up Costco and now that isn't good enough? And now you want to include all companies..It would be best if you just concede and move on because you keep moving the goal post...
