Well if waiting a day or maybe a few hours is enough to make you pay more, that's your choice.

I don't like weed that tastes like dirt but whatever spins your crank...

The more you say Marty, the less I listen, your points are all negative and weak, got anything other than shit to sling? Could reduce all your points to drivel but it has all been said before.

I will update this thread more, when it will not supporting the current monopoly. I don't want to list PPS strains here for their(PPS) benefit, later when there is many more LP's and strains.

we'll be selling truly organically grown, top shelf primo at $4-5.
I agree with everything you said, other than selling your products for $ 4-5/gm. As Lp's, the worst thing we can do is have a race to the bottom price. Someone will always try to undercut another. I think that $ 6 should be the minimum price for all of us. If we start competing on price, we will all lose our substantial investment and this industry will fail. The federal government would then be forced to again give Prairie Plant Systems a subsidized monopoly. I would love to find a way to subsidize patients in serious need, but I also know that many patients spend $ 8-14 at "compassion clubs". We will provide exceptional quality, certified organic products that have been tested and certified. I think $6 is the lowest this should go.

hydroponic cannabis sucks.
Not when it's done right. It tastes bad when it's not flushed properly or has too much potassium. Patients won't have that issue with their meds because of the QA process that lps have to follow. Most will not be growing in dirt either. Do you really think lps are going to invest 10s of thousands of dollars on growing equipment and skimp out on the strains? Give your head a shake man.

I'm not going to get into strains either cause I believe that it's a lost cause.

But I have to ask. Can you really get a quarter for $10??? Really? C'mon. Let's face it, 99.9% of people can't. Most people I know pay $55-$70 a quarter and that's for a bag of "surprise". Sometimes good, some times it's salad.

Lps will be a really good thing. Yes, some will lose out and that's unfortunate. Some need to take some responsibility for the mmpr though. Some have brought it on themselves. If they tracked what their grower was doing or themselves for that matter and did not abuse the system so badly, then it might have stuck around. I know a grower that flowered 100 plants at a time for 3 patients!!!! C'mon, that's abuse. We all know that 70% of those batches went out the back door. Oh and it was in a rental property as well.

Either way, im not looking for a pissing contest. I know for us, we're looking forward to working with patients and supplying amazing products.

on a personal note..I do think that it should be fully legalized and allowed to be grown in your backyard. I don't agree with In House growing unless you own the home. Lps would still make good profits if it was legalized. You can brew your own beer and wine but most people don't.

Kootnay...good luck girl..in box me if you need assistance with anything.

Thats true...good point.

btw..kootenaygirl and marijeJane..our group is looking to start a consortium of smaller lps..smaller lps need to work together to make this successful and compete against the big boys. By working together we can sell each others products, pool resources and help with supply if one gets a bad crop. Since we have our own lab we can test other lps products for them at a much much cheaper rate. Why try to grow a bunch of different strains when you can grow one or two very well without all the issues of growing many.

We plan on growing charlotte's web. There won't be much demand for it at the beginning but imagine being able to offer it to your patients, make a profit without having to actually grow it or test it? If any of you lps are interested please in box me. We're hoping to gather a group of 10 solid lps to work with.

In the end, we'll be selling truly organically grown, top shelf primo at $4-5. I've crunched the numbers and it is what it is. I know around here in the niagara region that $40 for a quarter, for ultra primo is a crazy deal. That same bag can be sold on the street for $80 and the buyers wouldnt bitch about the price. At least not after they try it.
So I only need to come up with $21600-$27000 for a year supply of medicine!?! I have no intention of selling ANY of my meds to subsidize the cost.

Your preference is your preference. I grow in soil and I grow with hydroponics. To me the only difference is the taste, other than the fact hydroponics out performs soil or soil less mix any day of the week.

Something else I would like to add. If anyone says they will produce organically using any form of hydroponics is BS. Growing organically in hydro is like trying to grow in a sewer, it just doesn't mix. If you look up the definition of organic growing its defined as using unrefined mineral salts or manure. Any fertilizer that is unrefined will not have a known NPK ratio.

You are right and the strains I named are the ones that work for me, took lots of long hard hours of finding right phenos and selective breeding and I know I will not be able to order them anywhere. Sorry for being bitter for being asked to destroy my Meds that let me walk pain free. Your also right about growing organically in a hydroponic set up. I laughed when I read that.
