The MMPR was not designed for the sick. Health Canada has said if patients can't afford the new prices they should go to their doctor and get an alternative. (don't shoot the messenger)
The MMPR is designed to move the sales of mj from the black market to a regulated and taxed industry.
First is "medicinal", to be followed by recreational.
You might not like it. You might want to boycott the new system. You might want to keep growing. It's up to you.
Repeated claims of "I'm not going to buy from these new LPs" are tiresome.
Conversation regarding the future, and perhaps how patients can get to the place in time that would see them being allowed to grow 5-6 plants each would be more entertaining and perhaps enlightening.
Lol the black markets been around forever it's not going any where seriously. Besides its called freedom of speech no one is forcing you to read anything. Have a nice day!

Gee HEALTH Canada...MARIHUANA for MEDICAL purposes..don't know where I got the idea this program was supposed to be for medical patients. This is a step backwards from the former program. How is this advancing anything? I'm trying to be optimistic, but for now I will wait and see,

What kind of conversation do you think we would be having if Cannabis Phytotherapy was covered by insurance companies or in the drug compendium? I said in another post, this is not my first drug of choice. This was what was left for me. Harper telling me to find another choice doesn't help me in the short or long term. I am the kind of people the original program was geared to.
Very well said damn right A step backwards, you took the words right out of my mouth

Hey Marty....do you think the black market will survive in Uruguay?
How much black market booze do you see on the streets in Canada?
If the product is as good quality wise, priced better, readily available, and legal do you really think the black market won't lose it's market share?
This is a well orchestrated plan.
