Has anyone had hermie issues out of tga's cheesequake, ace of spades, and chernobyl

I just ordered seeds from attitude cheesequake Ace of Spades Chernobyl and Qrazy train. I'm waiting to hear if anybody has had any hermie problems out of these strains and how overall pleased they were with these strains.

Yes, i got 3 ace of spades that went herm(exposed bananas under stress), mostly my fault because i intentionally stress my gear on its first go round to see if its worth it, i trashed them because of that, maybe it was premature because it was excellent smoke just lacked in power but had flavor for days, it smells nicely in flower, not like a skunk or haze, its very much like black cherry/lemonade. heard cheesequake is the shit, smoked some but never grew it. saw an older grower on here who grew it, said it was his favorite, looked really fat heavy yielder. Chernobyl is vigorous, no herms from my experience, its just not a heavy yielder, some plants turn black/purple. strong lime/lemon smell, some smell like candy similar to sour patch. qt is very similar to chernobyl, same mom, just better yields on the QT and strong grape smell.

chernobyl grows well outdoors, good resistance to mold. grew it in NE usa outdoors and haven't lost much bud to mold in the last 3 summers.

Well you covered all of them thanks for the info on aos. I did my own hybrids from unknown strains the mother was one of the strongest I've had the offspring has an affinity to herm with little stress. The only stress I know about is lsting and short veg time. They only produce a few bananas do you have experience with leaving the herm and pulling the few nanners. This is my first experience with hermies.

You can pretty much guarantee you will find bad recessive combinations in TGA genetics just because of the seed making practices he uses (shouldn't be a high % although I have read a lot of reports of them in certain lines, particularly Jillybean). That said, you can find some incredible stuff too (also not really a high %). So it's a balance. If you like to play the lottery TGA might be for you.

What are some of your favorite breeders? I've heard the low thc % being said about tga but at the same time I've seen 2 strains test above 20%. I just realized you were talking bout high % of incredible ones sorry.

TGA's original gear, up until the time of Jack The Rippers release, did suffer from the possibility of low THC levels in some of their stains.
The introduction of the JTR male into their gene pool helped stabilize higher THC levels in the resulting crosses.
It was with the addition of Dioxide's Blood Wreck female that pushed the TGA line up and over the 20% THC line.
So the resulting strains like Qrazy Train, Timewreck, and Chernobyl, are good bets for high THC crosses from TGA.
I've got some Timewreck in flower right now and I'm very excited to see what the results will be.

I've seen JTR tested under 10% THC and well over 20%. Granted the grower skill plays a factor, but I think that pretty much says it all about how much of a hunt it is going through a lot of TGA's lines.

Yea its a clusterfuck of f1 polyhbrid genetics, but the wreck hybrids chern/QT are about the best stuff he's got.i saw the test results of his qleaner (jacks cleaner X querkle) that was around 12%. and i think he grew it....

THC isn't the only thing that effects us, theres the terpenes too! Some of that stuff hits like a champ but tests low, and Indica dominant strains generally test a little lower and still kick ya. I think the testing process isn't 100% where it needs to be for all the advertising they are doing.

It's true, I can only assume the person who tested the sub 10% JTR tested it because he/she liked it. I'm pretty sure DJ Short said his favorite weed of all time tested @ 6% THC. That said, I was using the example more to highlight the variability in the plants.

I agree with you there is a huge difference between 10 and 20, that means it can be a lot of different things and for cannabis seed buyers that is usually what we don't want. I don't know I may just be super medicated but I like to grow what the picture looks like as a sort of guide to how well I am doing. If the seed comes out completely different how am I supposed to gauge it ya know.

Who knows, damn this GSC is great already... just quick dryed a super tiny nug and threw it in the vape and im already dissasembling my own sentances.

What can I say...I'm a fan of TGA. I was discussing Sannies w/ OGE on another thread - hey, bro ! Funny, 'cause when I was stating why I was dis-satisfied w heri and extrema, I almost mentioned that I wouldn't go through the process of trying more beans in the hopes of better pheno luck, because I'm now stocked w/ Bodhi and TGA that I want to try, but also have 2 keeper TGA moms: a lime slurpee Chernobyl that is an awesome daytime pleasure.....delicious, and you can get your day on and things get done. And, a fantastic Ripped Bubba, that because of ho-hum reviews, I had ho-hum expectations for. The one of two I kept is a trichome monster beginniing at about 25 days in 12 / 12. VG yield, and as his discription says, the effect is reminiscent of when you first began getting stoned. Great to just drift off into the horizon...a great view. It's so good, she replaced a Timewreck mom, ending a great 18 month affair.

As to herm issues, in adddition to the above mentioned strains, count zero in all TGA runs efforts: JillyBean [biggest producer], Dairy Queen, CheeseQuake, and Space Bomb.

Out of all of them, only Space Bomb was disappointing, because of miniscule yields. They were done in 7 weeks, completely drenched in sugar. I've concluded a preference for the JTR crosses, and in fact, am still collecting. I'm looking forward to trying Ace of Spades and Agent Orange when space permits, even though they are often reviewed as some of the less potent. And see, that gets back to the sannie/heri discussion. The overall smell/taste of those - along with the disappointing effects - just didn't make me want to keep pheno hunting, but a tasty orange, lime, or black cherry won't go to waste if the buzz is at least average - and all TGAs so far have been beyond average here.

Having a chernobyl day, like today, is like sucking on a green life savers.....and the chores were done hours ago. So, if things go well, there could be orange days..or black cherry nights, or....well, you get the idea. One other thing - they all have been a breeze to clone; always getting roots far ahead of whatever else is in the box. [ The Bodhi Goji's fwiw are a beeeottch in making babies. ]

The keeper: you'll smell a distinct lime, and she'll already be sticky at week 3 of 12 /12. By week 5, she'll be shiny and covered in trichs. The best one will be a combination of intense pungent lime stickiness, and big, heavy colas [ these are less common, but they are there, trust me ]. The first time, years ago, no babies were made. But one girl out of 4 in a five pack recently, and there she was again - big, fat, sticky lime sherbet delight. The smaller yielders can also have the same goo/smell factor, then there's the average one that is, I think, less common - the lime is there, but smell/taste/yield/buzz just average. Word of advice: you'll ruin a pair of clippers per plant....but smoke that scissor hash...your finger hash too !

ive got a peach/lime pheno that that yields good(comparatively to other phenotypes) and has strong mold resistance, but like i said, no 2 plants are identical, its a clusterfuck that you have to select from, i got the lime slurpee pheno multiple times so it isnt rare. go for that 1. i just picked the one i liked the best.

ive had folks tell me i sprayed my herb because it tasted so good, chernobyls got to be in the top 5 best smelling/tasting strains ive ever smoked.

also go for the Agent orange, its killer(better than Jillybean for sure, grew that one too), best orange hybrid ive smoked, i got tangerine trainwreck haze(rare dankness) flowering now and it smells good so far, if its better smoke than the AO ill PM you. the AO has better yield though as the TTH i got going now seems frosty as fuck but low yield.

i got a phenotype that yields medium, smells of mango snapple, very sweet when cured, the buzz hits fast and hard and melts away into a more hybrid type of high but its got some indica despite the immediate sativa rush. great daytime smoke.
