Congress passed that law in 2009. After the 911 terrorist attacks and prior to this law, guns were strictly prohibited on any Amtrak train, anywhere.
If you would have pulled your handgun out in front of the conductor like you claimed, you would have been arrested and taken into custody on the spot.

The new Amtrak gun law is basically the same as the laws for airlines, except more strict, it requires 24 hour advance notification.

First bolded statement is simply not true. However, you are correct in your first claim that I stated because of Obama, people can now take firearms on to trains with them, prior to boarding.

Second bolded statement, again, you are simply lying. At no point in time did I ever say I pulled out my firearm in front of the conductor. Please cite. You are absolutely incorrect that they would arrest me on the spot, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. If I have a license to carry along with a conceal permit, authorities more often than not will simply want me to secure the firearm, and will usually only inspect the weapon and ask it be locked away, as what happened on the train.
