Very Close to Scrapping This Grow

It's been over 3 weeks that these plants have spent in 12/12 and I still can't figure out what sex they are. Ready to throw them out and start over with new seeds.

I understand that patience is a virtue, but these plants seem retarded.

Here is what I'm working with:

Thanks a bunch.

Um, at three weeks you should have buds forming and there shouldn't be any question. Should be able to tell by week 3 that they are female from like 100 feet away, lol.

Check your timer to make sure it's at 12/12. I did it a few years back, but by the 4th or 5th day it was obvious nothing was changing.

It's been longer than 6 weeks, maybe 8 so far? They were 5 weeks old when I put them under.

As far as 12/12, it's been dead on and haven't missed a beat. No light cracks, nothing. I've examined everything at this point, temperature, humdity, ph, moisture, nutes, lighting, light cracks, timers, fucking everything. Ready to chalk the seeds up to crap and go to a new bank next time. The plants on the other hand look amazing. I'm using Fox Farm Ocean and the Fox Farm Trio in half doses, not full strength.

The branches are asymmetrical too, so I know they're ready.

Some plants just like to take their own sweet time. You can't rush mother nature lol. However, when they finally show those hairs we're waiting for, all your angst will disappear! :)

I thought you said 3?

6-8 weeks since seed maybe?
Yea, about 8 weeks since seed. Pictures 3 and 4 look like males to me, but everyone that has seen them says you can't tell yet. And that funny-looking one in #2 makes me think male too.

how tall were they, how many sets of nodes before flower
time frame is not so important
if the plant lacks vigor it will be at the 2 week stage at 5 weeks, if it was not healthy it would also be behind time
if you think you did all this right and it was 1ft tall or more with plenty of nodes before flower then it looks like the genetics you have are poor
even a 14-16 week sativa would be showing pistils or male flowers at this stage
maybe you could trim them down so they do not take up much room and start some new seeds at the same time
even if these plants go into flower soon it is likely they will be slow to develop and mature

peace

I saw no signs of gender. mb you saw something I didn't? 3 weeks since you flipped them is plenty of time but just wait another week before you throw anything away.

They were about 1.5 feet tall, with 3 sets of nodes.

I was just looking at the flowers on the first ones, they look like little green claws, not bundles of grapes. I will give them another week and see what happens.

Maybe they were a bit taller, I can't recall honestly lol. I just gave them a month in veg, then moved them over to force flowering.

Not the height, but the amount of nodes. I mean my little plants had like 7 or 8 nodes that was less then a foot tall

1.5 feet tall and 3 nodes , that don't sound right to me lol
yes i agree that sounds very stretched

this seedling was around 5-6 inch tall and had 6 sets of nodes which is typical for a hybrid, some indica strains would have even closer spacing of branches/nodes

Oh ok, I was misunderstanding what a node is. If I were to count all of them, I would say around 10 when I transitioned because there were also some other nodes that were not connected to the main stem of the plant that I did not count.
