First Grow Outdoor UK - Phase II

Hi UK, no probs I always like to see what others are up to, specially UK members and outside growers. Plants looking good today, got a fair bit of sunshine. Was going to re-pot them tonight but wasn't able to get the pots I wanted so might just wait till tomorrow.

BTW, not sure if you've seen my other grow journal yet - only mentioning it as I know you're interested in outdoor growing in the UK. The other grow is 4 Cinammon plants which are about 51/2 weeks old now. You can see it here:

Thanks kulan hunter - the pipe cleaners do a good job actually, you can quickly raise, lower or bend them as the plant bends or grows, and the fact that they're soft means the stem doesn't suffer. Just have to watch they don't soak water up from the soil and rot the stem where it's touching. Doesn't seem to have been a problem though. And thanks for the rep mate

Finally got around to it haha sorry mate been SO busy its unreal. Looking good mate how have they been holding up this week? Those girls are going to smell So nice when buddin!

sup green i went out and bought some fertilizer and some epsom salts today.
so im gona use it on 1 plant only cause its got orange dots going up the stalks in the leafs..... and ideas..??
I read loadza shite but didnt say nuthin bout it.
so i think the fertz could help i spose!! but seems i dont know shit about usin fertz im fukd really

The Epsom salts can cure it alone if its a Mg deficiency.
Do the spots look like this... from my grow journal
If so I fixed it with Epsom Salt.
about 1-2 tsp per gallon water.

I repotted these the other day and they are doing well, starting to grow. Think they were a little root bound and it really does slow them down. Will not be putting pics up until next week though. But by the time you come back from hols hopefully they'll be as big as my Cinammon plants

Hi UK, hi Alto. No problem, hijack any time - if someone can get help here then that's what it's all about. In fact I think this point is relevant for me at the moment too. I've had a bad couple of days with my Cinammon plants and I think Mg might be part of the problem. But it goes a lot further than that. Hi all,

OK, what b*****d has been nibbling on my leaves? I woke this morning to find this:

You can see it's had a go at three of the leaves on this fan, one of them seriously. Definitely happened during the night. I've checked the plant thoroughly for bugs (none). And there were no signs of slime marks anywhere at all. I'm thinking a flying creature. Do moths eat cannabis plants? Or any other ideas.

Fuck :S i dont know what could have done that. Caterpillar? Weird you couldnt find anything. I wouldnt worry about it though mate its treatable. Try something like "Provado" Spray and it should keep the bugs off

shit green man harsh is there a dead or really stoned slug in the pot..... and no alto nuthin like that man... shit if my plant was that bad id be cryin!!! mine is a tiny problem could be the strain for all i know but i wana make sure lol im gona post the pics of it in my journal green man ite bro

Thanks GigglePimp, could have been a caterpillar but again no sign of anything. Whatever it was has gone (no further damage) so fingers crossed.

No stoned slugs UK, but if I find them they won't be stoned they'll be dead! LOL. Get those pics up man

ok green because i got a few more plants on the go than you i thought id help you out abit. that greenfly n blackfly killer shit i was on about that i bought i sprayed it on my a plant lol even though i have no bug problems lmao its fine bro no problems have showed up not even a little bit of burning as i put it on under my enviro light n it says not to do it in hot weather so hope this helps mate n heres a pic so you know what to look for

Hey man, please don't think you need to experiment on your plants on my account UK. As much as I appreciate the gesture if anything were to go wrong I'd feel terrible about it Don't worry mate, my plants are fine - no more sign of bugs. I did find a tiny tiny worm or caterpillar or something hiding in the growing tip of one of my Cinammon plants, the one that was all deformed, so it could have been the culprit on that front. Anyway cheers again for all your concern UK. I'll have a look at that doff stuff thanks

lmao i did also do it for myself....cause i just got an ak-47 femie off a mate and well it came from outside so i need to clean that shit first before she goes in with my outhers i think about a month quarantine... lol treat it as if it has rabies

Hi UK - you're quite right to be cautious after bringing a plant in from outdoors. Could quite easily screw your whole grow I think a month should be plenty of time to quarantine your plant. Hope you don't think I was being ungrateful btw - far from it. I'd just hate for anyone to lose a plant at any time, never mind if it happened while they were trying to help ME out.

ok i got anuva grow light aswell my mate had enough so i had it off him its a 250w hps and mh light but the wires look so bad its not even in a case what should i dooo ......hmmm... should i just bin it now or can sumthin be done to save it?? look at it its a mess much better than my enviro light i think its brighter!!! so please reply if you think theres hope

Hi UK, sorry I haven't been about. I don't really like the look of that. Couldn't you cut the wires back and get rid of all that tape etc and then reattach to the light fitting? Do you know a spark who could advise you without giving away what the fitting is or what it's going to be used for? If you feel you've got it in a safe condition then you will know best, but please don't take any chances
