Will Boveda 72% be to High??

Hey has anyone used the 72% humid-paks from Boveda for cure? I cant get any other percentage rite now. They Seem to be working great. The RH humidity this time of year is about 20. buds seem even better already 1week into cure(better texture, denseness, And all around even-ness and consistiency of the buds themselves). One of my fluffier strain got a lil overdried and a week in the Jar this stuffs petfect!!.So 72% should be fine ..rite?

yes 72% is way too high, it could cause mold. 62% is the one you want if your going to use those.

I've been using the 62% for a couple months and there is no way I would use anything higher. Anything above 62% could very possibly cause mold from what I've experienced using the 62%. I still keep an eye on all my jars with the 62% packs in them. Better safe than sorry.

I use the big 62's and switch them between jars until they equalize at 62, then take them out and store the B-packs in jar by themself. I've used some of them 3 years/6 grows and they still work.

Yeah I think you can get by with a pack for every 2-3 jars if you have the time and inclination to juggle them around. They will last a lot longer if you take them "out of service" when you get your bud rH down to where you want it.

The 62 RH Boveda is Good, maybe to good.

I over dried my first plant.

I used the Boveda packs in 6 jars weighing 6 ounces.

10-15 days later I smoked a jar and moved the last of it to the other jars.

5 days after that I removed all the bud and re-weighed and my five jars full was 7 ounces!

Remember I smoked at least a Half to 3/4 oz during the first weeks.

Personally I think 62% is right on the verge of being too wet. If your buds are a little on the dry side it seems perfect, but If they are a little wet before you put them in jars I have had mold after a couple months. personally I think a 60% would be ideal but that's just me. Most ppl seem happy with 62%.

62% is perfect. The dude who owns boveda said they specifically developed the 62% for us weedies. The suggested ratio is small 8g pack for an ounce. Big 60g pack for a pound.

I'd prefer them to be about 58%.
