incidentally I have started brand new seedlings under 400w mh 600w mh/hps and others have started under 1000w with no issues.
How far away should I have the light away from the plants?now. just watch the nutrients on that smaller one
Did they burn lol?Lmao my first indoor grow i started seeds under a 1000 watt hps and ran it for 24 hours for almost a month!
OK thank youA little help or you in setting your light. Place your hand palm down at the same level as the top of your plants. If the heat is uncomfortable to the back of your hand it is too hot for your plants.
No they didn't just cost a hundred more dollar's then it should have! It was in the winter time tho the low temps helped alot!Did they burn lol?
Plus Rep for that one, that was my laugh for the day.ahh make up sex...its always the best ;P
The 150 is more than plenty for now, as long as you did the hand test (hand between light and plant to make sure it's not too hot). Now just take it easy for a while.HI everyone
Just a quick update to show you how my plants have gotten on since I last posted pictures. They are doing really well now and just want to thank you all again.
One more thing tho, I have them under a 150w hps bulb at the moment and was wondering when I should change it over to the 250w? Please could somebody help me with this asap.

Why don't you stop finger fucking your plants and just let them grow?
You didn't see the 'replies/views' numbers?Errr... just saw this thread was a long longer than I thought
Start a thread for your plants bro.this is great I don't feel all alone for my grow but will anyone help me op youre plants are good I want to start my plants good like yours thanks for all the help everyone
I found it bro.I already have thanks mr 666
You really need to research this part on your own, not trying to be a dick, but so many different views on checking water before nutes added, checking water after nutes added, checking soil PH, checking runoff, etc., but myself, I PH my water before nutes, have found to keep that between 6.2 and 6.8, and it works for me, and I don't add lime or do anything extra, but I know of plenty of people that are a lot more particular about their PH ans soil prep, and they have awesome grows.OK thank you.. What is the cheapest way to sort out my ph?
Plants look good bro. Please see above
Hello again everyone. Just a quick update on how the plants are getting on.
I have posted a few pics and as you can see they are doing really well thanks to all the advice I have been given on here. There is one more question tho and that is after having a look at my pics how long before I should start to flower? It's really hard to find out what to do as there is so many split opinions on this.
Please could someone help me out with this as I don't want to do it to early.
