Seems see4 and I have something in common after all, wow, desert eagle my dream, never fired one though, pity.
It's a fucking dream. I made swiss cheese out of an old 20 inch tv with three shots. It's a very nice gun. The girl I brought out with me also shot it. Fucking hilarious. Two handed she rocked back after firing it. But she loved it.

Rofl, I reckon I would be a little scared of firing a 50cal handgun, worried it will break my arm. hehe. I am old remember.

I bet you have the highest score in Call of Duty don't you?
Don't try and change the subject now and project, PJ. Why do you need ammunition with that type of stopping power? Ammunition specifically design to put down people, designed by the door kickers themselves.

Naw, you should be good. It has kick, but it's not that bad at all. I can reacquire target in about 1 second, about the same time it takes me to reacquire my 223 standing or 300 standing.

Good thing I can't see the pic properly, I might sell everything and go find me one of those, it will have to be an old one though, but some things mature with age they say, pity I am not one of them. lol

Why not? Why are you so jealous? And why do you care so much?

Oh, my next home defense purchase is going to be a chainsaw shotgun. With a disorienting led high output light.

It's actually a low power close range sub-sonic sniping round designed by a civilian firm (Advanced Armament Corporation) headed by a man named Kevin Brittingham.

I am a fifty-bore bigot.

The S&W and AE are forty-nine-bores, gentlemen. The chief fifty-bore (bullets sized to .512) is the .500 Linebaugh and its rarer, weirder variant ... the .500 Linebaugh Long. John Taffin treats of them in his engaging book Big Bore Sixguns.
I have a .500L five-holer built on a Bisley frame by master pistolsmith David Clements.. When i had it made, I would trust only three men to build such a gun, which involves machining a cylinder from billet and retiming the gun. These are John Linebaugh "hisse'f", Hamilton Bowen and David Clements. A friend had a .475 built by Linebaugh. Both are sui generis guns, and hoooo doggies touching off a round in either is a sinus-clearing experience.

that sounds like an interesting read. Has it got many pictures too?

I have to add this to my library, I'm sure Elmer would have approved:)
I also have Sixguns by Keith. Taffin's book is a recommended Christmas present to yourself! A very pleasant and informative read. I have a real liking for big-bore wheelguns. Shame I lost my bullet-casting goodies some years back. I had a 480-grain mold for the .500 , semiwadcutters from wheelweights. Over an ounce of slug. At 1200+ fps that puppy will register an opinion with all 27 bones of your gun hand!

Wheelguns scare me.
LOL, when I was a kid in my early 20's I started off learning to shoot (non-military) using a S&W Model 10 revolver. When I asked the guy who taught me (an old SOB, USMC MGySgt) why I couldn't start with a .45, he said "cause I don't fuckin' want you to fuckin' shoot me or your fuckin' foot off, God Damit!) In fact, I thought he thought my name was God Damnit because he started every sentence with it. Fired thousands of rounds with a revolver and never had a problem. Watched the likes of Reed, Weaver and Jordan shoot as well. BUT, if I had to carry for a living, I would carry 1911 as primary and a revolver as backup. Much easier to load, cock and fire a revolver with one hand if you had to.

so you ask me to show you his white supremacy beliefs, i do, and you just delete them?*

and that solves what?

we still have a goddamn white supremacist spreading hate around here. do you not get that?
Waah! Buck, you spread more hate around RIU than anybody I know of, and you are still here and nobody is asking to have you banished. Grow a nutsack and learn to face your intellectual opposites like a man.

Thanks for the info CN. Curious, do you prefer six shooters are semi-autos? And 480-grain?!?!? What the fuck. Planning on taking down elephants anytime soon?
