There is no other company on the face of the earth with higher output LEDs. 180'000 lumens from only 190w! 947 lumens per watt!

Their UV, IR and deep red Cree LEDs are pretty badass too.

Oh yeah

So you WOULD purchase their products? I'm trying to find other grows besides kushington farms to compare. Thanks!

I thought the bazinga was implied.....

No, I would not buy from them. They are liars, and they are clueless as to what they're selling.

It wasn't long ago that they got ran off of another forum, 420 I think. They were telling people the same 180'000 lumen lie, then took a picture of himself putting a LUX meter point blank up to his light and read 180'000 LUX. Then tried to say LUX and lumens are the same thing, and that "plants use lumens too".

Also, Cree UV, Cree IR, and Cree deep red do not exist, never did. They said to people that Cree custom makes 2 LEDs for them, though they can't even afford their own housing case for their lamps. If you can afford to get Cree to make a custom LED for you and afford the minimum order, you can shell out $10000 for your own housing case that is not identical to every Chinese lamp on the market.

Not one of their LEDs are Cree, they are Taiwanese/Chinese chips encapsulated in standard plastic diodes. Something that you can not do with Cree.

Also, there is no such thing as 947 lumens per watt. It's just not possible. That would mean you get more power out than power you put in. That's like 2w output per every 1w in. 200% efficient plus. The highest lumen per watt that is regularly available is less than 200 lumens per watt. There's supposed to be a Cree MKR that is 250 lumens per watt + soon, I've been waiting on those for a long time now.

There are plenty of good LED companies you can buy from without giving your hard earned money to someone that lies like that, especially when you can get the same lamp straight from China for 1/3 of the price. There's even a bunch of Ebay sellers selling the same junk for 1/2 of what Lush sells them for.

Lastly, I think "Kushington Farms" is Lush Lighting. They need a way to promote their junk somehow. Have you seen anyone else using Lush lights besides "Kushington"? I haven't.

Your exactly right EH.
Just like PropagandaPharms on youtube is Hydroponics Hut trying to push their shitty Pro-Gro brand.
The only one I've seen using the Lush lights is Farmer John Fourtwenty on his youtube channel.
From what I've seen, he's only using them for supplemental lighting.

Hi guys, I'm wanting to buy a new led light shortly, at the moment I have a 90watt ufo led and it's doing the job but I'm only a week into flower with it. (scrog)
My grow space is only 1.5ft by 2.1 ft but this might get bigger in the future.
I want to buy a better led that will give better yield and quality.
What brands and type out there are the best?

Ps. Can't use my HPS at the moment as it's summer but during winter I think I will be able to. But if led works just as well I will stick with it.

Just to save everyone some time, I've already recommended Area 51 and the Hans Panel to this member, in his thread asking the same question (in General Marijuana Growing).

Cutter will have something close (5 or 6 tint). Fair warning though, Fasttech has a 4200K XML2 T5 bin that is 25 more efficient.

I would assume that they carry standard or common bins and colors in stock because of the demand for them. As where with the one A51's bin/temp isn't common and so they don't waste stock space with it.

But A51 and companies buys way more chips than the average joe, so no problem placing an order for them, whatever they want. The distributors(digikey, cutter, mouser) have a cree account, so if cree makes it, they can get it basically.
If you called and said I want $10K in xt-e's in BLANK bin/temp, they would get you what you want.

Goatlicker, I think the reason that you aren't seeing any more responses is because I've already given you our forums best advise for LED's.
If you've got the money, Area 51 all the way, but if budget or space is the issue, the Hans Panel is your best choice.
If you've got specific questions about other LED companies, ask away, and I'll try and give you the pro and cons of each.

I've been following the Area 51's for a while now and was debating between one of them and a BlackDog but I'm swayed towards the A51. I am a tad bit confused by the wattage description though. On the website it says:

"Electrical Consumption: 130w or 190w. These are the actual power that they will draw, not the maximum power the LEDs can be driven at. Maxed out this lamp would be pulling over 360w."

Soooo, is it a 130w light, a 190w, or a 360w light? Or all three, with a switch to select between wattages?

How would one "Max out the lamp" to get the most wattage?
