Meaningful discussion and debate share some salient common features. Any dscussion that doesn't at least loosely hew to the rules of formal debate becomes, as you point out, a form of "master debatin' ". I do award style points for your sly double-reverse attempt to hang me with the blame for your self-amputation. I'm always here to lend a hand.
