hey bro i kinda fucked up, gave all my plants a really high nitrogen fertiliser now all the bottom leaves are dying and turning yellowy brown kinda transparent in places aswell im trying to flush them as 3 are still in 10l buckets, i would say approximately 25-30% of the plant looks like this, have i killed them ya reckon?
I reckon theyl live if you flush them. Im not that experienced though. How much did you give them what was the NPK ratio?

One of my 2 plants is leaning over sideways :S I have a stake to hold it up. Is it ok to drive it though the soil in my pot? I cant put it through the ground next to it because its a hard surface. Just dont want to damage the roots.

I have 1 frisian dew aswell its about 6 foot atm. I also noticed white hairs coming through quite a long time ago but its still been vegging. Its weird, Maybe this plant just has them pop through early but still stays vegetating for longer while more bud sites are created?

Little update: Went to check mine out today becasue the weather here in the last weeks has been terrible. Raining all day today so no need to water. However I had nothing to do today so decided to go check it out after the big winds a couple of days ago. It was insanely windy. Anyway the stem had broken and the plant had reacted by turning itself up to the light towards the top which I thought was kinda cool. It only just broke though the skin of it. Its like it super cropped itself lol So yea went home and made another journey all the way back to fix it up. I read somewhere about using tape to hold it upright so ive used electrical tape as a bandage on the break and also put a stick in the ground next to it and used rubber tire tubing as support. Im hoping once the suns out it will adust it self straight. Reckon shel be okay? Ill chuck a few pictures up.

Oh yeah also noticed the tinyest bit of preflower coming through on the 9th node. Its very small so I cant say whether its male or female as of yet but I thought I saw a pistol. Hard to tell Ill take my magnifying glass next time I go up. Its looking rather good though other than it breaking. The stem has thinkend up alot in the last few days and its getting quite nice growth down the bottom. The topping went well and its growing two branches now but there wasn't alot of growth there. The newer leaves are looking pretty sativa now check it out. Cheers :)

hi guys merry xmas thought id ask for some of ur thoughts on this i got a couple 8ft frisian dews from dutch passion going at the mo I'm from the bay too started in early oct to try maximise size there looking prity sweet but theyv gone into pre flower already i think starting to get clusters of heres etc. its abit early for that isint it?
Hey mate, go the bay! lol. That Frisian Dew has always interested me, 8 ft aye? nice but sounds weird that it's flowering - do you have any pics mate? If it shouldn't be going into flowering this early and it's too late to be going into cold/shock induced flowering which happened to me last year when I put them out mid october but they didn't grow properly until december. Yours wouldn't have grown up to 8 ft if they flowered early. Maybe it's a light sensitive strain or semi auto flowering?

anyone else have any ideas to why the frisian dew is flowering early? it can't be a climatic issue as JTW is having the thing.

JTW - Do you have any updates?, just put the stake in the pot but not too far down, I'd say no more than 8". What strains do you have going outdoors mate?.

I think you should just leave the plant bro, it's not damaged at all. It looks like it's growing alright, bending stems is all good but when they actually break and the 'skin' is pierced then you have a problem. not a big lose if it broke anyways, there's 2 shoots right below where it was bent.

Just look for a white hair coming out of a preflower/internode - easily seen by the human eye and no need for a magnifying glass. Looking good anyways mate and you're lucky to live in a windy place as that will pay off in the late stages of flowering to prevent mold; the wind will dry the plant up quick if it rains. I grow sativas to avoid mold, there's nothing worse than mold or spidermites! spidermites are straight assholes!.

You gotta look at the shape and density of the buds to determine indica or sativa - the Panama is so contradictive; it has a hashplant aroma with deep dark green leaves that don't really look like pure sativa leaves but the strain is definitely a 100% sativa. It takes about a week for the plant to recover from topping and then it's all go from there.

Here's the Malawi mum flowering inside

http://www.metservice.com/towns-cities/tauranga look at sundays forecast! so much rain  no need to visit my spot for awhile. definitely semi subtropical - tomorrow there is only a 4 degree fluctuation with an 18 degree low! pretty warm if you ask me.

letstrip, she'll be fine I wouldn't leave that tape on for any more then a day or 2 as that stuff shrinks fairly quickly and could do more harm then good. it only takes a couple of days for an injury like that to heal im fairly rough and break branches and stems quite often they fix themselves quick and are stronger then ever.

1 kushberry and 1 frisian. will get some new pics up in the next few days. definitely weird that the pre flowers came through so early on the frisian i'll try get a close up of it.

that kushberry sounds nice, blueberry or kush dominant so far? if it's stretchy and male looking it will be similar to blueberry. They used a BB male in the cross so it should have that special unforgettable flavour. I think I might have to pollinate the Malawi with a Blueberry male one day.

Is the Frisian continuing to flower? or are they just massive preflowers like the ak47?

My guess is some sort of auto genes hidden in there, could be semi auto?. A fully photoperiod plant shouldn't flower until end of january/start feb (strain dependant).
good weather we've had aye? I like sunny days with showers in veg season. 10 hours is very good! I think my Malawi will be getting 10-12 hours direct sun hours.
You might get an early harvest then? hopefully they don't try to reveg...

JTW and Cooper,
pics would be great to see. I'm curious to see these flowers. Coopers do sound like semi-autos.

Hey mate cheers, think itll be algood. Ill keep and eye out for the preflower. At the moment they just sort of look like cones coming out of the internodes theyre real small so Ill keep a look out for the white hairs. Fair enough it would suck having you crop wiped out by mold or spidermites. We get a fair bit of wind through summer and right up until harvest so that will work out pretty well.

Guess well have to wait and see what the buds are like. Sounds like that panama could fool you a bit, the leaves looked indicary yet its pure sativa  Algood then the new shoots should take of soon then. Your weather sounds like its been awesome. 18 Degree low is crazy! Dont really need to check mine either as its been warm humid and wet. Its odd weather here were getting more of the weather you'd usually get further up north towards your way. North easterlies and north westerlies.

Malwais looking mighty fine

Yeah you might have to wait a little bit longer until you can tell, probably in the next 3 weeks. Yeah the wind can be good but bad too, good for preventing bud rot but bad when its at the very end and the buds are just holding on by the weight and the wind can snap branches.

The Panama is a hash plant, pungent smell so far. The plants are gonna go crazy after yesterdays watering! next 4 days of straight sun with 25 highs. I'm off to the ruahines tomorrow for a hunt, cant wait.

Probably wont be an update for awhile if it keeps raining, no point making tracks to my spot. I found out I have the long flowering thin leaf phenotype of Malawi - a more devastating and tripping high. Hopefully she finishes in my climate. Might be a mid may harvest.

JTW - Is the plant still veging? could just be massive preflowers?.

Cooper - Yeah they will go crazy over the next few days, I'd say about 15-20cm growth for most plants. You can't but colloidal silver higher than 15ppm, you need to buy Ultra Colloidal Bio Silver from amazon online. It's 50 ppm which is fine for making seeds, $20 US for a 16oz bottle.

Yep still veging I hope it goes into full flower soon im excited. it is meant to be an early flowering plant. Heres a couple pics the first one is frisian second is kushberry.
