I know, I was MIA much too long! 2010 was a horrific year, more loss and literal trauma than any one person should have to endure; and 2011 wasn't much better. It took me all this time to sort through it all, and be able to rejoin the land of the living; even if only via the 'net. I couldn't talk to people for a long time, so I lurked here & there silently... but I am making my way back to being able to socialize a bit.

Awesome! I was going to ask you about that. You had such big plans for it. I am so happy for you! What more can we ask for in life, than to be able to follow our passions & dreams?! So, when hubby and I are finally able to take our cruise to Hawaii, I get to visit you and admire your farm, right?

YAY, I was just about to go check to see your latest thread(s), so you just saved me a few seconds! Music was my first love! Oh yeah, I did a gig last September, my first in 4 years! It hurt like bloody hell, but I made it through the entire night, and that made me happy. Still retired, but I plan to do the occasional gig for shits-n-giggles.

Yeah, she sent me a PM about two months ago. I just saw it this morning! I remember she was a real sweetheart, but it's been too long to remember details anymore. I will be writing her back soon, likely today.

Check out the photo I posted in my new "Random" photo album last night... photo is crap, but my son built me a nice medicine cabinet for my new nursery a year ago! I have photos on my laptop (I mostly use my tablet now; much lighter and less painful to use) of my nursery being built... my nursery is very unorganized right now, but once my son & I can get in there and set it right, I plan on taking good "after" pictures and posting a thread to show off his handy work. My nursery is right between my bedroom and my indoor jacuzzi, so everything is close together and I can slip into my jacuzzi right after working on my plants and get some instant relief! The perfect setup!

Eh, went through a lot of crap for quite a while... the whole "when it rains, it pours" kinda thing. Life has finally been more peaceful as of late, relatively, anyhow. And I got sucked into Facebook! Still use it, but trying to get back to my old home away from home. Read some entertaining closed threads the last couple of days, posted a fert question, and am working on catching up.

Guess what? I am a grandma! She'll be 3 next month! Son and granddaughter live with us. She brightens my darkest days!
