  • Oh and if you have a little extra cash, head over to a local hardware store or a big chain (home depot, lowes, Ace) if you have one. You can usually buy 42w Warm CFLs for less than $10 and some places have the monster 68w Warm CFL thats the size of a football. They run $15 each and both the 42w and 68w fit into the same socket as the 24w bulbs you are using now. Just my 2 cents :)

Just dont make the mistake I did and buy hundreds of dollars worth of CFLs when HTGSupply has a 100% ready 250w HPS kit with remote ballast and horticultural grade bulb for $127 shipped! But if you have limited funds then the larger CFLs can really help do your lady justice.

Hahahahahaha!! <----that was a huge ironic laugh of relief!! The irony is that I have been trying to get a 3 foot AF but cant get close with the strains I have. 3ft is honestly my goal with an AF strain. Unfortunately in your case it didnt flower as early as usual, but the fact that its 3ft tall will make up for that :)

The purple/red coloration on the stems is totally cool. Most pure genetics have stalks looking similar so Im sure it means everything is healthy. If you are only watering twice every 10 days than your nute regiment is fine in my opinion. But I usually water every other time with the crappy Schultz 10-15-10 I use from walmart as soon as they start budding. Sometimes Ill add a little molasses in with the fertilizer @ 1tbsp per gallon (black strap only). In 10 days I will usually be watering 3 times or so.

Id love to see some pics if you got em. If not no big deal. Good luck with everything!!

    Hey man

I could have swore I responded to your last comment, but I must have closed the browser before hittind reply. I am sorry about that. How are things?

I hope all is well, and I would say that the large size of your container could have definitely contributed to your plant size and lack of budding. Although, it should still be producing much more than it has. If you havent switched to 12/12 and it still hasnt started budding, I would do so now. If it starts budding up after a week or so I am willing to bet it may not be an AF strain after all.

Let me know how things are.
