Hello, just reading your comment about water. I'm from the north, my ph is 6.8 - 7. You probably have a focus near you, there selling ph meters about 6quid (as there closing down). I'm sure BandQ would sell one, Wilkinsons sell a ph meter and temperature at 6quid ish. Its important tool; allowing you to measure your ph whenever you want, before adding water, after,...so you might as well buy one now. Its recommended if your using tap water to leave it out for 24hours+ to get the chlorine out of it.
If you have any questions just ask me, i've just started my first grow a few days and they have sprouted nicely. I'll be able to help you out a lil as i've done a fair bit of research, also if you need any info on UK related shit, like shops to buy from.
