Ya man the whole point of LST is to get multiple tops. You can get literally dozens of tops if you do it right. Just bend it horizontal when its pretty dry and then tie it down. LST is pretty much a method to get multiple tops so you don't have to actually top it.
If you are LST'ing a plant...
What were your nitrate ppm levels throughout the grow?
Right now currently I have a thousand gallon koi pond in my garage which I am currently growing lettuce, tomatoes, parsley and cilantro under. They are doing great and instead of growing my other girls in that, I am simply using the water...
people will tell you the UFO's suck. In LED you get what you pay for, so if you really want it you will probably need to spend minimum 4-500 for a nice unit.
Now you could go t5 HO if you dont have the room for venting additional CFL for flower.
i really like the way you did the man, I think I will try something similar.
My only comment. That pump looks tiny to be pumping 1000 gal/hr. How much much would you say is actually going through the vertical piping.
Also do you ever have problems with roots clogging you're pipes?
So what UFo light are you using?
I see the ones that are like 300 dollars and people claim they work great.
But then people say the ebay ones suck.
I have seen a few on ebay that are US sellers for ~200 that claim they use good parts, same spectrum as the 400 dollar ones etc...
So where did you buy you're UFO?
What brand is it? I can't see the difference between the ebay UFO's and the 300=500 dollar ones, what is the difference?
Hey LED girl can you give me information on the doctor in Washington you went to? I am having trouble finding one and would appreciate if you could just point me in the right direction. Thanks!
could you be more specific about you're lighting? So t12 are just the standard 48" fluoro tubes right? I have a ton of those laying around been thinking about using them instead of cfl for veg.
What do you think? What spectrum are you're fluro? what about cfl?
Sorry about all the questions but...
hey led girl I am very impressed with you're setup.
I live in washington also. My dad is looking for a doctor in the state that does the MJ cards? Can you give me the info on the doc you went to? Thanks!
The way i see it you want to use more lower watt bulbs 23-25w so that you can get a better light coverage.
Less lights = less light coverage. So with more smaller watt lights you can position them everywhere and hopefully provide more even light over the grow space.
