  • but yes with autos try and put them in the final pot to start with. plants usually take a week or so to recover from being transplanted and with autos that could be 10% of the growing time you lose
measure the width and buy a square pot. they have more space and fit tighter together. hg-hydroponics.co.uk, i use them for all the bits i cant find cheaper else where. they are the best priced hydro store online. what i mean is as the cannabis plant gets bigger you should move it into bigger pots to let the roots expand. dont have any soil in the pot when you transplant. add the plant with its smaller rootball and then add new soil on top because if you pu it at the bottom the water will run through and plants wont get enough nutes from it. newer soil on top to help feed plants for longer
when you transplant into a bigger pot, take out the entire rootball and place it in the bottom of the new pot then top it up with the new soil (#3). then water it in, bury some of the stem if need be (they can be a little stretchy). you will lose about 1" of soil after a couple weeks of watering so add a bit more. it will provide you with enough nutrients. only add more if the plant actually needs it or you will do more harm than good. with cannabis less is more when it comes to feeding. try and let the soil almost dry completely before each watering or the compost can get a bit muddy. perlite would be a good purchase. homebase sell it for about £6. if you do a compost/perlite mix of about 70/30 the water will drain a lot better so you can get more space for roots. if your gonna try autoflowers buy big pots and plant them straight into them as they dont like being transplanted.
Id just be guessing, the fox farm soil is for the M/J plant and has all the Micros and Macros. The Bigbloom is a liquid mix of earthworm castings,Bat shit, and other trace elements. You said you found a good compost? If i were you from experience,I would find a bag of Earthworm castings and Bat guano, mix the 2 but save about 1/4 of the Bat guano.add a bag of perlite. When time to flower make sure you leave enough room to sprinkle in some of the bat guano around your container.Ive done this with GREAT results gives a good organic grow, opposed to MG the reason no MG your grow never goes long enough for the plant to use all of it,and the AMN.Nitrogen will still be in the harvest, thus chitty taste.I know this cause my first 10plus yrs ago i used it and grew ok but it popped and taste really bad.The most important thing for you and your plant is no harsh chemicals, the amn,Nitrogen being 1.
honestly. buy the john innes, its worth the £6. i know morrissons sell a lot of decent but cheap ferts, they are powders you sprinkle onto the soil. what i do with soil is buy john innes #2 then once the look like they need ferts i switch to john innes #3 has more fresh nutes and should keep you going for a full cycle
Dude just keep reading and try to sponge everything you read!! When i say i get 1.2 to 2 ounces of course its just the best and tightess buds, not the little spongy ones and fan leaves.Cant PM you yet get post count up then you can get and receive PMs,or you can leave me a message like you did before been growing for 10plus yrs so if you get stumped holla.BEECH Remember this is the web dont trust everyone!!!!
