do you think maybe too small of a res size is the problem. too many roots to water volume plus amount or air being pumped in i have noticed with my grow. the more my roots fill my res the less stable my ph is and i see bigger changes to my ph

only time i see a need to strip your plant so hard is if your light is trash with penetration. you are just stunting your growth by stripping so much and stressing the plant but again do what you want. believe what you want . ill grow regardless.

my roots often get stained. if thats all it is then i would worry from my experiences its not a problem or the net pot to be lower. many times i dont top my res up until its half gone and many of the roots are exposed to air hope someone can give a defined answer

i see no reason to use a net for your grow. you have a even canopy already plus looks like you have allot of head room for stretch. you could still add one now to help support the plant but i doubt it will need it

it shouldn't change. when you say watering pail do you mean like a bucket of water you have sitting there with out a plant in it. if so then no the ph of the water shouldn't change but id keep a air stone in there so the nutrients keep from dropping out of solution i often leave pre mixed...
