Get a fine grit sandpaper, anything that just scuffs the shininess of the surface. Scuff the bucket with the sp, and use a wet cloth to wipe the dust off. Use a spray paint for plastics, Krylon, whatever, and spray it black. I only had a HD in my town as well, so I got the white buckets...

I'm on day 57 of flower with CH9 Humboldt. Plant has very dense & heavy nugs, lots of frost and smells like cracked black pepper. No problems with hermie on this one, and its looking to be great bud! Got it from the attitude freebee, and glad I popped it!

I'm a newb, so take it for what its worth, but in both pictures your rocks seems very wet. I have a DWC system, and the top rocks in mine are always dry. I think you are getting your moisture too high up and it is causing you to get root rot.

Have you thought about using a smaller container for the DWC until you can move them to their permanent buckets? There are several threads about growing DWC in those plastic Folgers coffee cans. I personally use a smaller, flatter, shoebox sized DWC starter to keep them in for about a month...

Thanks for the reply! If it is a deficiency, then my starting 1/2 strength nutes should start to clear it up right? I've looked and looked at the pictures in the sticky on nutrient problems, and agree it could be P, Mg or Ca... Hopefully it will get better now that they have some food!
