The system you are describing works well for lettuce but not for weed. Search on bubble buckets and you will find the best DWC growing system for weed. Good luck and happy research!

Water cure it. Or do a quick steam cure in the microwave. The bud will lose most of it's taste, but won't lose any potency. I'll admit it's a crappy way to treat your bud, but it makes for a quick cure. Good luck and have a great trip down south!
