We sleep in the back of my car.
He’s my sleeping bag warmer.
It’s amazing how much space he can take up in a bag while sleeping.

That's about right last four trips that is what we did.
Not as fun as a Tent but we had a good time.

Love camping and did it with family for years. Dad had a pop up pull behind and we learned all the jobs for setting up and running a camp. In my late teens and 20's I used my ability to put up with camping discomfort in various duck blinds all over the USA.
Now?
Now I have Marriott rewards points and a time share on Hilton Head Island for 2 weeks a year. I choose motels based on the important things like are they going to give me a cookie the size of my hand on check in and where can I get a good pasta dish.
The guy who used to run 2 day island parties on the Maumee river would shake his head and go catch a fish and cook it on a stick.....

Best time I ever had was middle of nowhere in the mountains in a Tent and it was raining.

First trip i took with my now wife she asked why i was setting a tarp over half the site.... It will rain i told her.

May have posted this before but since camping and hiking trips always have Mr. Murphy lurking at the rear and can/might/will turn to shit really fast, always make sure you carry military grade (Cyalume) chemlights not glow sticks and a dedicated length of 550 to use as a nighttime signalling device. (Buzzsaw) [...as well as a quality handheld orange smoke flare that meets USCG approved daytime signalling device standards]. Think off trail, broken ankle, no cell service, now what? I'm a big believer of SatPhones as well, they rent pretty cheap nowadays and Personal Locator Beacons even cheaper.

Where I was kind of cheating I had my Pickup and Computer could watch movies on one charge. Had Chainsaw and Big Fire.
Age and Cancer changes things. But my garden needed tilling actually it needs couple more times. But I Tilled it my wife was watching she said year ago I couldn't do that. Well year ago I wasn't as stoned.

I have the last 10 5/4 deck boards to do. Did the first 27 then 3 back surgeries and now I am going to buy more wood and pay someone to finish my deck
