I haven’t decided yet, maybe I’ll wait a little while. I’m leaning toward Grapefruit Durban. I’m about out of that one but I did find a bean in the jar so I’m hoping it will pop when the time comes. I bought a jar from the local dispensary and it’s been the best I have bought so far. Mostly homegrown for me but I occasionally buy an eighth.

This is what I learned about THCa.
It's literally a controlled high....strains that are normally "no ceiling" definitely have ceilings when grown for THCa. Cinderella is normally a no ceiling strain for me, and normally a single joint will have me borderline needing a padded room lol... Not THCa Cindy.....THCa Cindy gives me the high that comes after the initial intensity, leaving this Cinderella as a non-potent relaxing sativa high.... Not the racey crackhead-like effects that it's known for ......what I also noticed is being it's grown differently, the taste is different.... normally I get that insane pineapple flavor from Cindy....and I've had the grapefruit from it too which is different and not my favorite.....but this is neither of those, maybe slight hints of each....leaving you with an almost pineapple but not quite flavor that isn't delicious but isn't nasty..... Cinderella is one of my favorite flavors to smoke but THCa has ruined it
It's not the same high, flavor or effects.... And I've noticed lately ALL THCa can only get me to certain point....I smoked 8ths rolled into joints of this and still only feel the same as smoking a gram....it's sad ....it's sad for Cinderella it's sad for THCa and it's sad that this is pushed as legal weed... The government has finally ruined weed for good.....lots of ppl will grow up never have had smoked anything that wasn't THCa
You can push it's the "it's the same" bullshit on me, but I know my strains, I know their flavors, I know their effects, I know how they're supposed to be ....and this ain't no fucking Cinderella 99

Ahaaaaa! I knew it!!! Edgeless grinder!!! It works.. Try grinding a few oz in one sitting and youll see any grinder suddenly sucks. Welp, I been saying for a long time if they just didnt have that stupid lip, they could grind forever without jamming. Otherwise they jam immediately when doing large amounts like a quarter or more.It works baby it works!! Clearly the first to think of it. I should capitalize on this hobby. Sell seeds, grinders. Patent pending lol jk.

The funny thing is back in the early 2000s I bought one grinder and used it for nearly 10 years without it ever jamming up.
It isn't the grinders ...it's that the weed is different.....we have all these strains bred for frost now and they're fucking up grinders worldwide lol....25 years ago not only would the grinder not jam, but the weed would get you higher too because it wasn't bred to be THCa and wasn't bred for concentrate - it was bred for smoking actual flower
I think that's the difference now.

Hash can be irritating to smoke. Im dabs only lol. Infact I have to become a breeder to truely breed for hash. They really arent breeding for it which was trippy when I first realized Id be the first on it. Possibly because these breeders just dont understand how it works I guess..
The more hash the more it jams its true. I love that tho that means more potency. I find the seed market is very different from what smokers had access to. Ive grown some real potent stuff while the store bud does have this bland feel to it.

That bland feel is that THCa feel....when we homegrow we aren't growing for THCa and that's the entire difference in the smoke.....
Before they were just less potent because they were growing for massive yields....now it's massive yields and THCa aka less potent weed
THCa is the governments way of regulation because it will only allow ppl to get so high....if they gave ppl normal weed, you'd see an uprise of car accidents and other Insanity because ppl who haven't smoked weed in 20 years wouldn't be able to handle real weed and the government knows this....so they figured out a way to ruin weed with THCa....the absolute strongest THCa I can find doesn't even touch the worst weed I've homegrown.

People say it used to be stronger like golden tiger type breeds are way stronger than what theyre breeding and selling at stores today. I think its subjective, when someone described what happened to someone that smoked it it wasnt something I think Id react that way if I tried it.
Its true tho dispensaries trying to teach people its not about the thc but its all people want. They look for the highest testing when store told me its the 5% stuff that had them ripped over the 25% stuff. I was guilty of this at the time I still smoked. I didnt touch anything below a certain point.
It was coincidently hard hitting stuff tho but then theres the other dillema. Ive never gotten a good buzz off gelato. Id say do si dos too but Im growing slurricane but its probably the purple punch or whatever else it has that will make it kick.
I was smoking mac 1 for a while. Super frosty but meh. Idk cuz I quit smoking 2 yrs ago I only dab. I remember it being a dragon chase where as dabs, they all hit me right except for gmo live rosin. Weird because the smoke did me well so thats another thing.

To hunt for extracts is super nuanced vs smoke so trying to make a one size fits all just ends up being hit or miss for everyone, something like that, its early Im tired. I liked runtz not gonna lie. I liked zkittlez it actually has a skittles taste to it. I didnt like any ice cream strains, tropicana cookies. I liked mimosa, I didnt like biscotti. Im just looking up strains to jog memory. I know I liked green crack, any kushy strains which is why I settled for my pheno I just lost due to weak genetic resiliency to cloning but it was basically mk ultra. Real og kushy it hits my type the best.
I really liked basically anything I came across during 2012-2016 ish like train wreck, pineapple varieties. Bluecheese, Grape god. Thats when I tried green crack. I cant even remember them all. Grape ape? GG4. Alaskin TF was later on but still close to that time. King Tut. Half the time I just didnt have a name.
Then all the sudden there was too many strains to keep up with then legal and now its even worse in that sense. Now I dont even look Im too busy making my own but am already being told mine is better than their options at store.
Biscotti not for me. The bubba 98 wasnt super hard hitting but was really good. I dont think Ive ever had the real blue dream or its not for me. Now Im going back to last few years before quitting smoking. I cant find enough to jog more memories.
I think theres a push to make more of the ones that look better and etc over effects for sure. I feel like its crashing tho people are starting to understand. I mean are they really making more money off those people buying an eighth for 70$ every once in a while than us stoners buying ounces a week?
It seems like they cant get it to sell so the prices drop and now all those “top tier” bags are sold for the same price with “discounts.” I been out of it for a while, hell they might not even be in business anymore. Was once on top of the market locally.
About slurricane tho, I actually do recall dabbing it from the store before, it was as good as it can be. I think there are amazing things to experience growing your own. I can just be in awe for weeks over a pheno or strain I grew rather or not it meet a standard for me to mother it or try breeding with it.
Its nothing like buying from the store, nothing like I ever had period if you explore the right lineages that you never tried before. Im all for hash tho so I only really grew a few good smokes not looking for them. So there are issues with my smoke, they never stay lit in joints which is a problem but even my stuff Im told is better than whats to choose from at store. One of which shut down on them.
They rather get it from me so I guess Im caregiving which is fine, I need to pheno hunt anyway. So I can grow to take a break my self just one run a year and the rest for my person which would only need a couple plants a year. Im used to being cuffed to the grow not going anywhere but I learned key things for it to do so.
If I get like 45oz a harvest Im good for a year but my person only needs 12oz which is easy to make. For now I just give 3 oz a harvest or more if its not good for hash. Its all new phenos now so I could make end up giving them more than they can even smoke. Find another person to donate to.
I wouldnt grow more than 2 plants for someone or else its too much to ask. I do 6 per run and thats quite the hussle only to get 10% extract when used to get 20%. Now Im hunting for 30% so I have it like that of a smoker in terms of grow labor.
