ya think? ive been looking up and some people are saying as long as it isnt completely frozen itll be ok. some people saying their plants have survived 2 winters in scotland. its not ideal but the last 3 weeks it wont hurt will it? theyre supposed to be a lil colder when flowering

I've done a little research on LED growing and I believe it has great potential for the stealth micro grower. I intend to make my own panels with parts up to about £30-ish and I'm sure it'll work a treat, apart from my heat (or lack of) issue in my shed.

Also as a matter of interest - my good friend has a 1000W sodium set up. Once my set-up is complete I intend to do a side by side comparison between his standard wattage kit and my LED kit using two of the same clones - should be an interesting experiment! Of course, in the Spring when it warms up a tad lol

yeah this site keeps me in plenty of problem solving tips and funky ideas....
i went Hps for my main grow tent.... but as i'm having to do a small box to start with i got a duel spectrum 125w cfl....hanger and lamp was like £30(that will do my dwarf autos stat to finish), and from what i've heard LED panels are dollop... you can get a couple of recomended types but they cost mega bucks but on the whole cheap panels on ebay are just a scam and nowhere near strong enough... i only looked into it for a short while but thats what most folks were saying

good luck and update regularly... i get bored during the evenings lol

Am considering a new grow (my first) on a very small scale. I have extremely limited funds so mostly my project will be DIY and bits thrown together. Hoping to use LED and maybe some energy saving bulbs but they'll either have to be cheap or things I can build myself.

Any tips is good. I'll try to keep this profile updated lol (I've noticed a few guys on the forum with new exciting ideas, then as the date reaches harvest time they don't reappear! lmao)
