This is what I'm trying to figure, getting some inspiration and generally wondering what sort of wattage to run boards when running with cobs

That's what I do now with my cobs around it but have 2 doing nothing so thinking I could add them for more efficency

@Stephenj37826 would it be worth running 4 boards at 42w each on the 185 do you think? Would it be worth it if running between 9 cxb 3590s at 30w each? Or just run 2 at a higher wattage for when I crank up the cxbs? I have all this light but can't decide how best to utilise it so I don't waste...

If a 120-1400 pulls 180 at the wall but also my 185-1400 pulls 185 from the wall. Which would be best to run 4 boards surrounded by cobs? I have both drivers so may be able to swap around if one is better than the other?

I have 2 on a 185-1400 in paralell and works spot on. 185w at the wall on full power, I have A type driver with internal dimmer

I'm thinking to put 4 on a 185-1400 do you think that would be worth it?

Seems that I could run them all in parallel for 170w so 42.5w per board which would hopefully mean I wouldn't need any heatsink

All I know is they are 110v or 115v at full power I believe inline with the qb304. Didn't know weather I should run all parallel or 2 parallel 2 series or how they should run

I did indeed and just like that but can use any pot, it's the iws autodrain with drippers and seems to work ok after a few teathing problems and couple of leaks from the drain trays but working great now. Well I hope so as I'm in Portugal and my plant are in the uk but looking at my cameras in...

i have 4 Samsung boards LIKE not the same but same config as a qb304 and was wondering if I could wire 4 to a 185-1400 driver? I have 2 on heatsinks and 2 not being used but would like to use all 4 with no heatsinks or at a push steel plate maybe. Is this even possible? Would ideally run them...

Thanks, new to all this so still getting used to the lights compared to my 600w hps the girls can't take half of the cob light as hps so think my light is already over kill. Should come good when I switch to photoperiod strains though

Here's my light, 9 cxb3590 90 cri 3000k running upto 50w each. And 2 Samsung boards running no more than 150w between the 2. Can wind it up to over 700w but currently running around 350 from the wall. In the tent without reflectors Have another 2 boards but don't know what to do with them

From my limited knowledge I'd say the 2100 will have a lower voltage capabilities that's it!

Well. I just removed them, to get the same 25000lux at the top of my tallest plant I'd need the light about 8 inches lower by the looks of things. So may well be worth putting them back on but would they absorb any light as they are effectively pointing light straight down as they are straight...

And with reflectors does look smart lol
