The cost of purchasing and running one would be prohibitive to me unfortunately. I live in a country where no homes, and only about 75% of shops, have air conditioning. It rains a LOT and while the summer gets to 20-25°C , the other seasons get cold, so houses focus on heating and insulation.

Agreed, I don't want to lose those terps! Which is why finding a dryer like this one which goes as low as 20°C, to mimic optimum hang drying temperature, took me so long. 99.9% of food dehydrators have 35°C as the lowest temp which is just way too hot

Thanks for your reply. Given that the HerbsNow dryer doesn't take away flavour, terps, or give a hay taste, what would make this one do that? I'm not trying to be confrontational at all, just trying to understand the difference between this item and the HN dryer so that I can learn what makes...

I live in Europe so shipping and customs fees from the US are huge for a HerbsNow dryer. As a result, I've been searching for weeks to find a dehydrator that hits that 20°C / 68°F temperature and I finally found one! I know that most folks will say to air dry and I get the reasons why... but...

Hi folks, Thanks in advance for your patience with a naive newbie. I'm getting into growing and am worried about my drying first harvest given that its 90% humidity here. The Cannatrol seems like the dream machine but getting it shipped to Europe would almost double it's price. So...
