    I hate trimming thread!

Those should be posted in every "are they ready yet" thread .

    I hate trimming thread!

We were into doing high spots in swamps and marshes , overgrown riverbanks , and forgotten pieces of land . Forgotten meaning odd overgrown lots in industrial parks , areas surrounding or behind commercial buildings that were all thorns , poison ivy and appeared impossible to move through ...

    I hate trimming thread!

Back in the guerilla days it was harvest in the morning and trim until your back couldn't take it anymore sometime in the evening . 3-4 steady weeks of that made trimming my indoor 8x8 setup seem like tiddlywinks . It was usually 3 of us trimming . We rarely used scissors as it was faster by...

Do you know what Fisher does as a service dog ?

    just dogs

They just get under your skin like nothing else can . My little guy is very stoic and composed . Well behaved to a fault . But when I get home tonight he'll absolutely lose it . Stuff like that just makes them so friggin awesome .

If I could have one thing it would be for my dog to live as long as I do .

    Ready To Harvest?

Nanners is growers slang for bananas . Late flower male pollen sacks . It's not an uncommon thing and could just be genetics . All kinds of things can cause them , it's a female plant making a last ditch effort to procreate . They don't make many seeds if they make any at all . It shouldn't...

    Ready To Harvest?

I'd say a couple more weeks . Looks like it has a few nanners so you may find some seeds . Overall they look pretty good for a first time .

How much does genetics really matter for seeds? How much of it is a scam?

Anyone else ever wonder if open pollination vs continuous selection of one male and one female has led to degradation of the gene pool ?

How much does genetics really matter for seeds? How much of it is a scam?

The genetics are there, just diluted or hidden . In my thinking it's the entourage effect that we've lost to a large extent .

I get flowers second week of August.

Different strains do different things . 12 hours darkness isn't an absolute, it's a proven recipe for indoor flowering . Strains that flower under less aren't necessarily a bad thing .

    How long til harvest?

Way too many white hairs and it hasn't filled out much at all yet . Kinda looks like too much nitrogen in flower .

    How long til harvest?

That plant has a long way to go . August 4th maybe .

    Male or female or herm

To early to tell but I'd guess female . I wouldn't kill it yet .

How much does genetics really matter for seeds? How much of it is a scam?

I'm looking at the aspect of uniformity in a pack of seeds, something that seems to have been lost over the years of breeding one poly hybrid to another . Chasing clones is a crap shoot . A "fire" strain with stabilized genetics would be a boon to the homegrower . This link explains some of...

How much does genetics really matter for seeds? How much of it is a scam?

They were the best phenos found from that lineage. My guess is that in 2018 new commercial growers were using clones of the best pheno they could find. As they grew and had to ramp up production they found that cloning couldn't support the yield necessary. So they started growing from...

How much does genetics really matter for seeds? How much of it is a scam?

It's a lot of work to get a plant to produce seeds that all grow into one desired phenotype . And as I said some posts back cannabis is handicapped by the present lack of knowledge . At this point it's those with a true love of the plant and decades of experience who can accomplish it via eye ...

    New seedlings

If the original intent was to put them in the ground now would be a good time . I'd keep an eye on that tall one . Looks kinda "male'ish" . A nice deep hole and a handful or two of something like Espoma Gardentone would do them well .

Day 85 of flower should I harvest

Looks like you've reached the point of diminishing returns . Whatever happened isn't reversible at this point .
