    Pot size?

Awesome! Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I'm saving it in my "how-to" folder. While I'd love to see how much I could produce in 3-4 100-gallon pots, I'm not Carlos Escobar, lol. ONE of those would satisfy me, my family members, and all my friends I bet! I'll probably go with 30-gallon...

    Pot size?

Yup. As expected, lol! If I don't buy the pots this fall it kinda depends on how much compost I can produce before "The Freeze" (which could happen in early November up here)....

    Pot size?

Yeah, preparing compost & have a 4-5 c.y. pile of "bottomland" soil, plus perlite, worm castings and potting soil. This hobby is addictive - unlike the finished product, lol...

    Pot size?

Yeah, moving to avoid the snowplow is a DEFINITE requirement. Thanks!

    Pot size?

Thanks! About what I was expecting, lol. Producing compost right now, planning 3-4 plants with about 5-7 gallons of compost, 20 gallons of bottomland soil, and up to 10 gallons of peat moss, perlite, and worm castings. Now if the bugs will leave me alone....

    Pot size?

I imagine I'll get answers all over the map (but trending to LARGE) - but for next year I'm trying 3 plants outside, and am considering 30 or 50 gallon pots. Ideas?

    Getting close....

Two days from starting Week 9, so should be done within 2 weeks. Looking good to me (a noob). Plants on either side went into the tent last week. With topping and scrogging I figure those two will EACH have the number of flower stalks (14) as the mature two. Using a 31"X31" tent under a Mars...

Are they doing good for 13 weeks

Upper Michigan....would a toad work? (I might need to tether him)

    Add Blacklight?

Would there be any advantage to adding a UV light bulb to the Mars 1000 LED I have in the flowering tent? I've seen the concept that UV is a "nice" thing for flowering plants... What do ya'll think?

Are they doing good for 13 weeks

"Hydro" is the plan for this winter, "Outside" is planned for next year - bugs sound SCARY right now. Hope mine look as well as yours do @ 13 weeks, lol...

    The usual noob question....

Thanks! I'm LSTing the followup crop so much that each of them will probably produce more than these two put together. Trying to be patient, lol...

    The usual noob question....

Glad I asked, lol! Yeah, THIS order from Ebay got 3 good'uns, one male and 1 non-germinator. The FIRST order from another Ebay source was 1/5 - and that one WASN'T GSC - and hermied for no apparent reason. These two look so good (plus another seedling and a clone from one of these, that the...

    The usual noob question....

Okay, my turn, lol... This is SUPPOSEDLY Girl Scout Cookies (Bought from Ebay, so who knows? Noob, remember?). GSC has a flowering period or 9-10 weeks, but my beauties are just 3 days into week SIX. Colors are changing, trichomes are exploding - I give it 2 more weeks MAX. What do you...

    HELP WITH SEEDLING

Think you'll be fine. Focus on keeping light OUT when you need it to be. Light escaping is just wasted, not fatal...

    HELP WITH SEEDLING

I wanna be YOU, rotfl!!! Gonna try a couple of outdoor plants next spring and was planning on getting some creekside peat-type soil plus Perlite. All they'll cost is a clone and some labor. I totally believe in failing up - been doing it VERY WELL all my life... You should see my DWC scheme...

    HELP WITH SEEDLING

You betcha! I added the 1/2 closet when I realized that a single veg/flower setup means one harvest every 4-6 months. I moved the HLG 65-watt LED to the closet and added a 150-watt MARS Hydro to the tent. Pablo Escobar I am not, lol....

    HELP WITH SEEDLING

I'm still a hobbyist - not a 'farmer' - and Jacob is, too. Errors and all, my tiny grow is thriving (Gasp! I've even using the dreaded Micacle Grow for fertilizer!!), and nothing I told him will kill his plants, either...
