There’s a small pump in the reservoir that pushes water through, the cloggings only a minor easily corrected inconvenience and mostly avoidable if you don’t grow em to big.

Want to set up a stock tank to keep my rdwc full. Not sure how to go about fitting a pump to a float valve or if even works like that(again kinda dumb)

Any of the longer form factor 300w mars hydros will do fine, same with spider farmer. I’m using a kind x420 in mine but I have a mars hydro fce6500 in storage with my 5x5. It grew some pretty damn good weed. The kind does put out cmh quality bud though so I feel like it was worth the higher price

Also we’re not using watts/sqft in 2024. It’s umol/m2. There are 240w lights that can flower a 2x4 nowadays

It’ll do fine, not a great flowering spectrum though. Not enough red.

Outdoors, in the ground. Natures a buffer. Indoors in potting mix you’re the buffer. I’ve gone through a bunch of ph pens, ac infinity’s is the most user friendly by far.

With the hard water you’re gonna want to filter. It sucks and it’s super time consuming if you go cheap RO route I have a 3 site 12 gallon total setup and filling up for res change is literally an all day process with the RObuddy from Amazon. I’ve heard RV water filters are pretty good at...

This. and don’t stress to hard, it happens especially if you’re growing something new and don’t know what the stretch is like. What I’ve taken to doing is keeping my light on veg spectrum till the stretch is done.
