    QB96 Elite V2 w/ SSTX heatsink question

It will run multiple strips. It turn on when the lights go out and runs for an adjustable length of time. I'm not sure of maximum input but it works with multiple drivers. @robincnn can tell you more. So this doesn't need a separate timer.

    Non-Chinese LED Brands

Cree spent 10s of millions from what I understand trying to figure out packaging. They ended up staying with China. Apparently it's a steep learning curve. That's why the 25% Tariff on leds really hurts. Butttt Samsung, Seoul, and select Lumileds and Osram will be made outside of China. Not in...

    Non-Chinese LED Brands

I'm not meaning fixtures. We manufacture in the USA. I'm talking about producing the actual light emitting diodes themselves. They are not packaged in the US. As far as I know only Lumileds and Cree have reactors here. They still send them overseas for packaging.....By packaging I mean putting...

    Non-Chinese LED Brands

I'm not 100% but I don't believe that any leds themselves are made in the USA. Japan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and South Korea is where all leds are packaged as far as I know.

    QB96 Elite V2 w/ SSTX heatsink question

They can handle 200 watts passively due to the more even spread of the heat across the entire heatsink. At 175 watts they run around 52C. No air movement. Even with a 10mm thick base the heat from a relatively small source such as a cob doesn't spread across the sink evenly. The max you can run...

That's already in the works. Similar to the HLG 35 red supplement board. For real UVB that is proven to increase potency look at Sola Cure bulbs.
