Or what he said. My soil plants look no different then my plants in strait perlite. Medium is just support it's cation exchange capacity, and it pH buffering is all that's different. If using water soluble nutes Live dirt is another animal all together Tons of organic matter for the...

According to the you nute label if you are not running them to wet or to dry I wouldn't add cal or mag in the mix just yet. I would find some calcium nitrate and make a diluted mix and mist them . That will bring your nitro and cal up and won't hurt them .

Then every watering what ever is water soluble is available, so either adding amendments to bring everything in ratio. Or raise the pH to hender phos.at the cost of calcium and trace nutes.

Add more nitro or lower the phos after converting its not to bad .more potash wouldn't hurt the rest looks in range any info on trace nutes? The phos is good but high enough that if iron and zinc are in limited supply, could be causing the issue Really hard to tell in picture need to see...

If you know how much of a nutrient is in the mix,and you know how much of that you mixed with water then you can figure the ppm of any element.

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

Cal 1 and mag 2ratio? Flip that cal 4 to 1 mag Your cal needs to be same ratio as you nitro.

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

Look at the label and what does it say. And remember if you run a lower pH phos is highly mobile and plants will suck all of it up fast after a fresh feeding So some time after they grow at night the next morning there can be a slight yellowing the fresh phos is abundant. That can give...

How much cal and mag also.

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

Only if the ratio of the nutrients to each other is out of wack. If your pH is 5.5 that's not the issue unless your mix has more phos then there should be. Which will hender the iron and zinc.to much cal messes with boron and magnesium and to much magnesium will hender calcium. How many...

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

yellowing at the top is either to much phos. to high ph,or wet usually. not my rules .and not my rules its chemistries an just because its soil dont assume the ph needs to be high. Cation exchange of the medium is whats it about,

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

nope if iys acidic dry them out. of ceck res for calcium and phos ppm can you do that?you have the tools

    Mysterious heavy twisted new growth..

lower your our PH a smidgen do the pots fell heavy or light? looks like the new growth is looking for calcium and sucking phosphorus from the old mature leaves Looking good tho.
