Need help with some doubs for soil growers

Sprinkle gypsum on top of the soil and water in with RO, no Ca issues. Bigger issue is that I didn't see anywhere where you mentioned what "soil" you're growing in.

    Led or HPS

If you can't manage your environment very well, I agree. It'll give you much better results with less hassle. You may need to bump humidity with the temp increase though. Cheap $25 vaporizer from an outlet store or Amazon will do a 4x10 room no problem.

    Led or HPS

That's kind of a loaded question. HID is generally cheaper for the unit, just replace bulbs. Temp and humidity have more leeway. Power consumption is generally more. LED is slightly more expensive fie the unit, bulbs they last much longer. In addition, they are less bulky but generally require...

    Led or HPS

Bump temps up to 82-85F with 60-70% humidity through veg, 75-80F with 50-60% humidity through most of flower with a drop to 40% humidity the last 2 weeks or so, and you should have no problems under LEDs. I was strictly HID lighting. Got my first set of LEDs and dialed in my environment... They...

Any ideas what's going on here?

I use microbes with salt and organic ferts in soil, coco and DWC. They don't hurt the microbes, but they can't feed on the salts, so they don't help either. Doesnt affect population either. Ph swings, temps, oxygen/water are the only environmental factors that bother them, salt nutes don't.

Any ideas what's going on here?

You can use microbes and salt based nutes together, you just have to remember to feed the microbes every once in a while. I don't see the point in running soil without microbes, but I suppose you're right in that case. It would make more good sense to just run coco that way, be faster too.

Not at all trying to come off as a douche, but what's with this ph'ing soil? It's unecessary and not good for the microbes. Ph shifts kill off colonies.

shiny spots but there is no claw!

Definitely separate them for now, til you can be sure. Mites usually come on right at the beginning to mid flower (usually the humidity drop). It could be nothing at all, but mites are a motherfucker, so safe than sorry.

They're sleeping... Is that what you mean?

shiny spots but there is no claw!

Definitely scope them. TMV isn't a cannabis issue, so don't sweat that. I do see some white specks on the leaf. Could be dust, and I hope it is.

shiny spots but there is no claw!

TMV doesn't affect cannabis. Bugs me seeing articles saying it does. No strike against you, the Internet is flooded with misinformation. However, I would get a scope and start checking for mites... Just in case. Shiny leaves aren't always bad, like mentioned by @R Burns.

Any ideas what's going on here?

Bloom boosters are usually the culprit for Ca at this stage. Not saying it is Ca, need better pics in better light to confirm.

If you're trying to keep a sterile res, obviously it won't work. Organic hydro is the same as organic soil. They help the plant with readily available nutrition, in case something happens to your microherd, or your last amendments haven't broken down yet. They can be useful but not necessary...

Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done. Didn't want to see misinformation is all. I don't know why you call bullshit. They're all ions. The only difference is chelation.

Hydro and organic go just fine. I dunno who told you otherwise, but they lied to you. Also, "chemical" nutrients (which should be stated as synthetic), won't hurt your microbes. Doesn't benefit them, but doesn't hurt them either.

    Diy cloner?

I had a clear one made from a screw container. Worked fine, just had to break it down a scrub it once a month from algae. Foil taped the outside, been running for 5-6 months straight, no more algae.

Which strains are fire from HSO and Dinafem?

HSO- Bubba's Gift has a pretty low yield, but the flavor and buzz is definitely great. Trainwreck is a pretty good yielder and definitely potent, though stability isn't the greatest in my opinion. Dinafem- Only grown their Critical+, but it's very good. Very stable too.

Looks more like you overdid bloom and burnt it with K.

    What's going on here?

^^^ This! I'm willing to wager that there are skunk genetics in OPs plant. Lots of skunk bred strains have been throwing wild variegation. New skunk genetics used in the past couple years maybe?
