Coco-Nuts - Post your Coco grows, setups, tips, etc..in here

It was supposed to be a mac1 caps cut, it clearly is not. There was a mixup @ the company I bought the clones from. Could be mac1 v2 or cookies and chem. ‍

PH of runoff 6.7 in coco but the feed is 5.6???

I have a cut that hasn’t got any runoff for at least three weeks. Feeding with jacks 4/2 @ 3 ec. Runoff wouldn’t even register on my meter and it goes to 10ec! Plant looks great, has some slight burn but otherwise unaffected. Smells great and has pretty good trich development for 31 days...

Mammoth mint white emerald green 880w

The light does not come with any uv. My homemade rig is a mix of 3k and 3500, some 660, 630, 2 royal blue and 4 uva diodes. At only 4 diodes for uv, I don’t think I’ll notice any difference in that respect. At any rate, I’ll be able to blast whatever I’m growing with plenty if light.

Mammoth mint white emerald green 880w

I talked to mammoth and they said yield increases up til 1800 umol without co2.As long as the environment is in check. It was always my understanding that most plants couldn’t handle much more than 1000 without co2 supplementation.

Mammoth mint white emerald green 880w

Anyonone finish a grow with the emerald green spectrum yet? Just ordered the 880w and a controller. Apparently just in time because they just raised the price of the light. Anyways, been growing a while with a homemade 8 bar light, just trying to step my game up a bit. I’m curious to see what...

Irrigation timers for high frequency fertigation

I guessing the timer, that sux. At least it’s all in the tray.

Irrigation timers for high frequency fertigation

I was also tired of constantly having to change the set times regularly. It seemed I would always get a ton of runoff or none at all.

Irrigation timers for high frequency fertigation

Both styles have done it. The one on the left did it less.

Irrigation timers for high frequency fertigation

Nothing worse than a flooded tent.

Irrigation timers for high frequency fertigation

Nearpow can be hit or miss. I have a bunch of them. Every once in a while they cycle on and never cycle off. Had my reservoir emptied out in a night several times. I ended up spending the money for a growlink system and never have to worry about setting timers again or dumping the res in a night.

    Run Off Numbers

Roots don’t damage that easily. I run straight coco and my media ec gets up to 9 during end of stretch. I feed @ 3ec and don’t even bother checking my runoff (Its way more than 400 over). Plants will continue to grow roots into the first few weeks of flower. A severe dryback will damage roots...

    Hypochlorous acid works better

Coco coir start of wk 9 since flip

Even though runoff is higher than input, I’d say you are under feeding. Up your feed to a 2.0 and I bet it slows or stops. 1.2 is not enough even for veg imo

    Run Off Numbers

I’m in straight coco, and I have been feeding a 3 ec ( ~2000ppms). I was using full strength 321 for a while, but the clones I’m running are heavy feeders. Kept getting different deficiencies until I upped my nute strength. Jacks website recommends a 2.4 ec for veg. Mixing 3.78/2.52/.99 per...

    COCO pH runoff question

Control the ph going in, don’t worry about runoff ph. I have runoff in the upper 3000s in my third week of flower feeding 1.8ec but I’m crop steering.

    Best Pumps for Drip Irrigation

Most sump pumps won’t have enough power for a drip system. Best way with an inline pump is to use a bulkhead fitting or uniseal and do a bottom fed reservoir. All fittings are hand tight on reservoir and don’t leak a drop.

    A perfect cure every time

After 10-14 days When buds feel dry but stems don’t crack, debone and put everything in an open bucket or tote. I usually do 1-2lbs at a time this way. Shake the buds around several times a day for 1-2 weeks. After that you are good to finish trimming and jar up. IMO if you have to cure your bud...
