The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

Speaking of sketchy caregivers, let me share with you a recent personal experience ending just this past weekend. Back in May I was watching an online "friend"/grower/caregiver that I had known for nearly a decade running a strain I have been considering adding to my medicine cabinet and garden...

    Lume Cannabis Co. Medical Cannabis?

Lume got back to me on my questioning of these genetics: "Both our Jenny Kush and Blueberry Crumble derive from Amnesia Haze x Rare Darkness genetics. However, they are two different phenotypes of the same strains causing one to be more indica leaning as well as develop different terpenes...

The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

Anyone have any good/bad stories of dealing with caregivers for meds today or in the past decade and a half?

The "right caregiver" is no doubt the way to go, but that market can become sketchy with all of the gray areas. Being a small batch grower the quality should always exceed Big Canna IMHO Especially in flavor/terpenes/cure alone :bigjoint:

The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

Out of these 7,662 caregivers left in Michigan now (2024), how many are honest and reliable business men/women providing consistent quality meds reliably to patients? How do our 101,160 patients find/access these decent caregivers safely other than the few farmers markets surviving in the...

The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

Is Dr. Bob still around these days? https://www.rollitup.org/members/dr-bob.463181/ I can only image the medical certification market these days. I know last year I read a report that 2 Docs wrote 23,023 certs alone, with the top 18 Docs accounting for "62% of 134,709 medical marijuana patient...

The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

@thumper60 Yes, it does seem as though Michigan and Maine have suffered similar fates in Medicinal Cannabis initiatives, market and regulation over the years. If recreational is going to be the winner, I'd like to see an amendment to allow for a tax exemption to medical card holders purchasing...

The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

I have always supported the MMMA farmers market model like the Genesee County Compassion Club & Vehicle City Social clubs in Flint have used for the past 15 years. I'd really hate to see places like that go under and I hope all are doing well.

The state of MMMA (2008) patients & caregivers in 2024

It seems as if our medical initiative has somehow come off of the rails my friends and the hits just keep coming. Even Big Canna has given up on medical via that dirty 2016 legislative venture into the Lansing based medical marijuana facility licensing/regulatory scheme in recent years. Lume...

    Lume Cannabis Co. Medical Cannabis?

This is a couple of years old (2022), but there are some interesting strain specific stats given by Lume Cannabis Co. They call it "Top Strains in Michigan: By The Numbers", but I assume they are specifically talking about only their strain sales...

    Lume Cannabis Co. Medical Cannabis?

Has anyone tried Lume's "Blueberry Crumble"? The lineage on their website states: Amnesia Haze x Rare Dankness. I would assume it is a sister/phenotype of their Jenny Kush (Amnesia Haze x Rare Dankness) then no? I am aware of a strain being sold by Nature’s Grace and Wellness down in Illinois...

https://www.arizonaphysician.com/sue-sisley-md In light of June being National Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness month, I thought it may be appropriate to introduce and give a shoutout here to Dr. Sue Sisley.
